What if we recolonize north american steppes and then in 100 years become neo-tatars and retake the coasts?

2019-02-22 18:13:47 UTC

That’s where I learned about Hegelian Dialectics

I think a lot of people, who grew up in urban areas have this idealized, boutique vision of what life is like in rural America.

The reality is that life in rural America is pretty awful for a lot of people. In many rural towns, Walmart is the only store and the main employer. Obesity rates can reach up to 70-80% and drug addiction rates are extremely high.

I admit I'm pretty jealous of people who grew up in places like DC, San Diego, NYC etc. You guys have far more access to better oppurtunities than the average person in Appalachia has.

^ Finance controls where capital flows. Capital sets labor value

2019-02-22 18:18:53 UTC

Unfortunate but true

2019-02-22 18:19:15 UTC

Some rural towns are really sad, very similar to Indian reservations

2019-02-22 18:19:55 UTC

Speaking of Walmart, would they sell bowties?

2019-02-22 18:20:04 UTC

I sure wish we had a say in this country.

AIPAC get out REEE

2019-02-22 18:20:27 UTC

Virgil, that more or less summarizes my six months of living in WV.

2019-02-22 18:20:36 UTC

You still see Somalis too.

2019-02-22 18:22:02 UTC

It took leaving San Diego for me to realize why people from snowy places would want to vacation there

2019-02-22 18:22:54 UTC

Living with everyday sunshine gets boring after 20 years but actual winter suxx, 2/10 would not recommend

2019-02-22 18:23:26 UTC

Winter keeps out the riff raff
