@Perihelion - CA Fortunately, I believe my church will hold and either keep status quo or strengthen restrictions. Will find out in around 4 hours though.

2019-02-26 20:13:54 UTC

Let's hope for more restrictions. These people need to be forced underground again before they do more damage to our civilization and culture.

2019-02-26 20:14:37 UTC

And I have nothing against individual gays, they are (overall) actually really nice people. At least the ones I know.

2019-02-26 20:14:50 UTC

But they are doing major damage to our culture.

2019-02-26 20:15:50 UTC

I honestly don't care if gays marriage in the country, but I don't agree with it religiously/morally, so this push to bring it to my church caught my attention.

2019-02-26 20:16:28 UTC

The mistake was letting government regulate marriage at all

2019-02-26 20:17:22 UTC

I don't want transgenderism or gender fluidity to be taught to my sons in school. That shouldn't be a controversial statement, tbh.

2019-02-26 20:17:44 UTC

Russian "no gay propoganda" laws when?

2019-02-26 20:17:58 UTC

Even if the government didn't, the fact that there are re-distributive mechanisms post-New Deal means that people of, as Putin would say, non-traditional sexual orientations or preferences, are able to avoid the natural consequences, economic and otherwise, of their poor decision-making.

2019-02-26 20:18:38 UTC

...and everyone else subsidizes them.

2019-02-26 20:18:41 UTC

Call me a cuck but "dont ask dont tell" was right policy and should apply more broadly

2019-02-26 20:18:52 UTC

@NiceGuy My issue with "gay marriage" is they could have simply had civil unions, but they wanted to give a big middle finger to Christians, so they forced it to be "marriage". That is a pretty dirty, underhanded thing to do.

2019-02-26 20:19:00 UTC

@Perihelion - CA I agree. Cuck.

2019-02-26 20:19:55 UTC

It's a middle finger to heterosexuals

2019-02-26 20:19:58 UTC

@Bjorn - MD Very true. The bipartisan spirit only lasted like 4 years before it fell apart again anyway

2019-02-26 20:20:11 UTC

Breeding people. Christianity is beside the point

2019-02-26 20:20:12 UTC
2019-02-26 20:20:18 UTC

yeah, but the "marriage" part was def a middle finger to the religious specifically.

2019-02-26 20:20:36 UTC

Marriage hasn't been Christian for a long time

2019-02-26 20:20:49 UTC

in modern terms, it is seen that way.

2019-02-26 20:21:02 UTC

And as a (married) pagan, I realize marriage isn't just Christian. 😉

2019-02-26 20:21:27 UTC

I need to be more read and have good arguments against gay marriage before I try to convince people against it, though. So many people today say "If it doesn't hurt me, let them be", but they realize the effects it has.

2019-02-26 20:22:22 UTC

I was of that same mindset, until I started seeing how destructive it has become to push other degeneracy (sorry Mrs Logan!).

2019-02-26 20:22:25 UTC

Marriage without the possibility of children isn't marriage. Gay marriage destroys the very concept.

2019-02-26 20:22:49 UTC

Infertility isn't the same thing. Could still adopt and have a mom and a dad.

2019-02-26 20:23:24 UTC

*Mfw African delegates are saving my church from allowing gay marriage*

2019-02-26 20:23:36 UTC

Bc marriage isn’t about love

2019-02-26 20:24:06 UTC

Why do I get a sweaty person

2019-02-26 20:24:08 UTC

its about legal protection and choice

2019-02-26 20:24:21 UTC

in practical terms i mean

2019-02-26 20:24:22 UTC

Choice 🤔

2019-02-26 20:24:36 UTC

its about furthering your political career

2019-02-26 20:25:04 UTC

@missliterallywho Choice meaning if something happens to your significant other, *you* can choose what happens.

2019-02-26 20:25:12 UTC

Not the govt or their family.

2019-02-26 20:25:50 UTC

Contacts other than marriage can also establish this kind of choice

2019-02-26 20:25:53 UTC

@VinceChaos @Lawrence of Eurabia v tru. Love is what comes out of similar ambitions and proximity. It isn't the main purpose.

If you are doing it right it will happen by itself.

2019-02-26 20:26:39 UTC

I didn't get married simply for legal reasons, btw. :-p
I'm just talking from a practical standpoint in current year.

2019-02-26 20:27:13 UTC

"Doc, I don't love my woofe any moore."
"Maybe she's a blue-pilled nerd. Fire her."

2019-02-26 20:28:06 UTC

My philosophy professor just referred to the MSM as maliciously ignorant.
I’m thriving

2019-02-26 20:28:19 UTC

@Asatru Artist - MD right, but just cos people do get married for legal reasons, or companionship reasons, doesn't mean that's the purpose/definition of marriage historically. As in all of human history until now (Christianity being rather recent)
