Let me know if I'm breaching the chat rules, but do you guys think the rebel flag is specifically for the South, or does it just represent rural America?

It's come to represent both in a way.

Pre nuptials can be made stronger if you agree to it long before the wedding and make the woman get her own legal counseling about it, or at least tell her she can consult an independent attorney if she wants. Stronger in some jurisdictions should be interpreted as simply less weak though since we live under a dictatorship.

James Allsup recently made a video talking about it, and he mentioned how it represents rural America in general, which I had never heard before. I always sort of felt that way, which is why I've always rather liked it, but that was just my personal preference

I suppose the flag largely just goes hand in hand with American white identity these days, even if that wasn't necessarily its original intention

@Nico The Great - CA it's really a smaller facet, imo. Living here in the south will really open one's eyes to the cultural representation. These aren't people who _hate_ anyone, they just love who they are and where they come from.

I basically wish I was southern lol, even though I'm a suburban Californian lol

I was raised in central Missouri

But my moms family was from South Carolina

So we had fried chicken and potatuh salad for family gatherings

I visited my friend in Florida over the summer and his whole family is southern. The food in the south is amazing

Not that I have a problem with people drinking, but I do like when "rural" people break the modern pop-country stereotype of drinking beer

The ol' toothless grannies down here make the apple pie stuff where you don't get the "wooee, that was strong" feeling. Smooth as silk, but it sneaks up on you. Dunno how they do it...
