No, I got an email about it earlier today.

Looks like it basically allows a url to have a comment section even if the actual site itself disables theirs.

Pretty cool idea, we'll see how it does over time.

I think it could be powerful if it works as described. Guess I’m getting a gab account.

@Prestor John I wish anyone could see it but it is still just people with the dissenter extension. I could see this being bigger tho seeing as it’s just an extension and you don’t have to go to a whole new website

@everyone interested should go ahead and set up a gab.ai account and set up their new Dissenter.com extension. It allows the users to create comment sections for any url.

Comments have been disabled everywhere on the internet because we have both sound factual arguments and the stronger moral /emotional position. We win where ever there is open discussion. This extension is a way to reopen these critical battlegrounds.

If it gains traction it helps us. there is no competition unlike gab itself so the likely hood of wider adoption is higher imo.
