@snappleapple1212 can I message you with suggestions
@snappleapple1212 another one I can say without more info is under wood 9mm extreme defense
Huh, radian must be pretty proud of their rails or something. They don't sell uppers without rails
any good books or guides to getting started in ammo reloading?
@TankzFoBeer most any reloading manual will have a breakdown of how to do it
The reloading room is a good fb page a lot of very experienced people
I mean you can put lithium grease in weapons
@Artemis nope ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
My first idea was to get just an upper and lower. Kinda forced me to get that rail
@littlebitt08 please feel free too.
My dad came to me asking about ar parts for a pistol. Might actually get him to do something of reasonable quality
Any of you guys run gear for a G3 or FAL variant?
Was thinking about it
I like my G3 but itโs not my go to rifle
I used to have a G3 and while it's a fun gun, and one of the most reliable rifles ever made, the manual of arms and construction paired with using a full size cartridge that's not shooting sub moa leaves you at a pretty big disadvantage.
Mag changes are a bitch because you have to lock the charging handle back, line up a mag just right, and slap the charging handle down.
Good luck in any close quarter situation with that thing too, hahaha.
You're better off just beating them to death with it. The gun's pretty heavy but it'll keep its zero afterward
Anyone have a London bridge trading carrier?
Like half of the people until 3 or 4 years ago
@Crye_Salesman well I just saw one on extraction and was curious about them. I was looking at the spiritus lv119 but decided I wanted something that I could potentially load down later on if I wanted and I heard mixed reviews about loading a minimalistic plate carrier with too much stuff causing lower back pain. But guessing about your name what would a Crye cage carrier run me?
Yeah the minimalist pc's are lightweight but aren't as good at distributing weight. Conversely, the cage is good at distributing weight but is much bulkier
Cages are hard to get. AVS would be what you want, loooking around 650 used
Oh i forgot about the cage's 1.5k price tag
@Crye_Salesman without plates?
Yeah plates are gonna add at least 500
And then you can get them as expensive as 1-2k per plate
Well I just won some Hoplite multicurve lvl 4s the other day
Me when I finish an AR build
Yes @boog3r69
+/- 100 deepening what options you want
> @TankzFoBeer most any reloading manual will have a breakdown of how to do it
@AppalachianTerminus. Get the Lee reloading book
> Any of you guys run gear for a G3 or FAL variant?
@The_Black_Knight what kind of gear
@(PA) LM chest rigs or what pouches you use. a friend of mine picked a PTR up and I told him to get a Rhodesian rig for the time being, since he doesnโt have a PC yet
@The_Black_Knight 2x g3 mags will fit in a g36 dual mag pouch. One g3 mag will fit in some ar mag pouches kinda tight. When I get more I'll get m1a or ar10 mag pouches.
Gotcha, he was eyeballing some surplus German stuff too
@The_Black_Knight if a mag pouch is tight, jam the mag in, then some more shit too, then sit it in front of a heater for a few hours
Iโve heard the chicom type 67 rigs fit the g3 mags too?
I wouldn't know that but ak mag pouches would be pretty deep for short g3 mags , If it's an ak rig
My bad, itโs the type 63 rig
From doing some looking they were designed for 20rd ak mags or something like that, so they sound like theyโre a pretty good fit
