I remember some kids down the street partying last winter. Loud as fuck. Loud enough to be heard from my bedroom window, cause it was open and I was curious. Sometime throughout the night a blacked out charger parked down the street, which is right off the main highway through here. Kids were apparently trying to do something illegal and thought the cops were waiting for them to do so. One of them had the idea to test them to see if theyโd break their cover. If they didnโt, they all assumed it would mean they were being watched. Eventually they decided to go with noise violation since it was 2am. Dude flipped on his lights, backup was waiting, and that was all they needed to legally raid them via suspicion of whatever they were being watched for in the first place. The kids were right, but entirely stupid.
My point here is this. If they ARE watching and waiting, theyโre just looking for an in.
Itโs similar to how a lot of rookie county sheriffs operate when they first get put in a car. Even if they donโt know the law from their ass, if you run, โ*seemingly*โ pose as a threat, or let your mouth overload your ass, it doesnโt matter if they had proof or reason to suspect anymore; which is often times how they get so many drug busts.
Thatโs if they *DONT* decide to just throw your rights out the window altogether, which is what many if not all rookie cops are guilty of at some point.
Moral of the story, donโt play games with the cops. Avoid them like the plague.
Despite that, even if this โsupposedโ spy DOES go through with doing something illegal, he will probably have some degree of immunity to most legal repercussions, and for all the things that arenโt, Iโm sure it can be assumed that no sane individual would do it either, and by extension neither would he.
Donโt become so paranoid that you start seeing the secret police everywhere lol
