There are a lot of military combat vehicles in LE hands. Most of them were given to them under an Obama era program that auctioned or donated surplus military equipment to domestic LE. It was a big deal like 10 years ago. Now they all just have them and no one says shit about it.

Saying "this wouldn't happen if the threat of tar and feathers was still a reality" is going to get them watching you but unable le to do anything. However, saying "when can we tar and feather these specific people?" Is legal grounds for charges.
