Trying to decode Browning barrel markings
Look up Browning proof marks.
I had a pdf for looking up the date of mfg, but nothing about barrel markings, so it was off to google
If chevys on the run he’s doing a shit job at it. @[CO] Chevylee112 why are you posting pictures of your location on Snapchat?
Nope not on the run anymore
And someone else on my account in a different location posted it for me;)
Rgr
I'm trying to find the email I used to ordersomething
At work on the psych ward, looking at plate carriers
@[CO] Chevylee112 Why you saying you were in Germany brother.
At least that's what someone said you posted.
He's throwing off the trail
They know he isnt in Germany.... Germany has a travel ban, we have a travel ban.
Lol
I'm gonna open up some chaos. Do you guys prefer quick drying boots that aren't waterproof or full goretex?
Depends. How calloused are your feet?
Personal opinion, your boots might dry quickly but your socks don’t
Moderately. I'm curious if anyone has experience with the quick drys
I dont have to worry about that. I'm going full RWV2 in my Van's.
Trench foot isn’t something that you deal with when it’s afternoon trips to the range, but you don’t have an endless supply of socks every time your boots get wet and would have been okay if they were waterproof
Idk, throughout the last 100 years logistics have done everything possible to make boots more waterproof, obviously your environment is important in the question
I have goretex right now but have been debating switching. Socks are easy to change and dry fairly quick in breathable boots
If you’re gonna be innawoods/swomp for a long while I’d rather have a lot of extra socks and some drainage + waterproofing/quick dry.
If rain is your only concern, and changing your socks isn’t smart, I’d go with as much waterproofing as possible, 8” boot, and tying them extra tight at the top.
I used to be of the mindset of waterproof everything but trying to keep my gear from ripping I switched to just a midweight layer on top with a quick drying under
All you fancy fucks, my boots leave rainbow streaks of oil through the water. They’re so oil soaked they’re water proof at this point
I loved leather until the first time they froze
Never had that issue in Mississippi
I’ve never quite had that issue in WI
Don't winter camp in leather boots
>go hiking in AK in jan
>at least 13 water crossings
"meh it cant be *that* bad
never again
Gets real fucky real fast?
I won't cross water. I will walk a mile around to avoid water crossings
Hoplite wants to charge me over 60$ to cancel my order I placed last night and tried to cancel last night
yeah you cant avoid crossing where i went smh
Fuck that shit.
pussy
> I won't cross water. I will walk a mile around to avoid water crossings
