I love animals, and I love my beagle mix puppy. The other night a 150lb stray rottweiler (assumedly dropped off) happened upon my property and tried to eat the little beagle mix. My woman and I shot it dead before it could do fatal damage, and I felt bad because it could have been a good guard dog, but now it's making good food for the buzzards and coyotes. Nature is a scary bitch

My family and I breed Australian shepherds

We have a rotty/pit mix that is an excellent guard dog. Very dominant personality though, I have seen her have a couple of issues with other dogs and never lose a battle with ones much bigger than her. Watches the 8 year old like a hawk though.
