Here’s the thing though, the problem community in America isn’t “Blacks”. It’s “blacks who came from slave families”. The overwhelming majority of Black Immigrants who come to America today do insanely well for themselves, and have integrated just fine into American society. Children of Nigerian American immigrants tend to make double the salary of the average black household in America, and are one of the most successful ethnic groups in the nation.

The problem community is the one that’s still pissed off and angry about the history of slavery and abuse from 170 years ago, and doing nothing but complaining about how oppressed they are instead of actually integrating into the society their grandparents fought so hard for them to join because they think that somehow makes them a “race traitor”.

This one subcommunity of Black America has bought into this insane idea that they can’t succeed in this country because the country is racist against them, so they don’t even bother trying and just live lives on welfare & crime. Meanwhile the rest of the Black ethnic groups like Nigerian Americans, who don’t buy into this bullshit end up just as successful as Asian Americans and White Americans.

And have similar crime rates

The problem isn’t race, the problem is cultural

The “Black Culture” of the poor slave descendant communities is insanely toxic, and does nothing but push racist and divisive rhetoric on their children, while punishing and mocking the children who are smart enough to escape it.

Because if the issue was all about race, and not culture, Nigerian Americans wouldn’t be doing better than most White & Asian Americans. Because the children of Nigerian immigrants aren’t mocked or put down by their parents for being intelligent. They aren’t discouraged from succeeding in school, and in fact are encouraged to the point where Nigerian Americans have one of the highest rates of bachelors degrees of any ethnic group in the nation.

Because the slave descendant group got pissed off that the overwhelming majority of Black Students at the best colleges in America are first or second generation immigrants

and there is no institutional racism that disadvantages black people... if anything its the opposite

then again, i consider affirmative action as inherently racist/sexist

I mean, as I said above, affirmative action is the textbook definition of a racist law

it also hurts people that are supposed to profit from it

People forget that discrimination can be both positive and negative

there is no positive discrimination

it always has negative effects on someone else

It can 100% effect people positively

That doesn’t make it right

if you have 100 spots to fill and "positively discriminate" against someone that only means that someone else who is more deserving gets left out

If an employer decides it’s February so I’m going to give a $100 bonus out of pocket to all my black employees for black history month or some shit that’s a positive discriminatory act. No nonblack employees are hurt by you doing this
