and Britain was the primary driver of slave trade, so no shit once they stopped it collapsed
That last 1% is a bitch to kill
isn't it the last 5%? or was that humans
Britain was A mover of the slave trade
Brazil got 10x as many black slaves as did the US
Spain, Portugal, even France were just as culpable
Holland moved slaves around just like they moved everything around
And, while I don't have the numbers in front of me, I'm pretty sure the Atlantic Slave Trade was small peanuts compared to the African and Asian Slave Trade.
So yeah, I'll give GBR some credit there
oooo, what are we ~~arguing about~~ debating today?
Here's an old article, but it ties in very nicely with Tim's video today.

This woman is amazing.

It seems like every great person has been fired at least once in their career.
For the sake of freedom of speech, please watch and share https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ps8iwcxaXV0 before it gets made illegal in Europe . Sharia in Europe: Human Rights Court Adopts Islamic Blasphemy Laws.
that should go in <#399204742846349312> tbh
here's a more reasonable article on it
Thanks. Lol i was having a bit of the old trouble watching that.
the Human Rights Court hasn't adopted any new blasphemy laws, it simply denied a woman's request that her fine be cancelled because ye olde freeze peach
the problem is with Austrian law, which is very touchy when it comes to "disparaging religion"

I mean literally, I agree with what she said. It is pedophilia. However it also seems like she was just trying to paint muhammad and islam as an extension in a bad light.
ya
especially since she made no mention of him consummating the marriage when she started puberty a few years later, nor that it was the norm back then
nowadays, it would absolutely be called pedophilia
not even a teenager, several decade age difference, etc
I guess that is illegal in Austria.
yup
maybe blasphemy laws should be abolished tbf, but this has nothing to do with sharia or the human rights court
just austria being austria

Anschluss gonna anschluss
The whole point is, that Muslims themselves are against paedophilia, but their definition is different to that of ours. The 12 and 13-year-olds they gangrape over the course of a weekend arent seen as children to them but as young women. They dont see it as paedophilia, because Mohammad did it.
And they dont see rape as rape then?
Well, thats where the whole grooming thing comes into play, the girls are under the legal age on consent therefore they have to be charged with rape even if the child gave their consent
They are allowed to take slaves for sex, which is what they see it as
Rape in the us is girls regretting that they consented to having sex with a boy and the retroactively changing what happened to rape
The definition regarding minors is still the same, regardless.
Could anyone tell me what birthright citizenship is?
I believe it's a system where being born in the nation makes one a citizen of said nation.
@Rjfenix if you are born on US soil, you are a US citizen.
Someone tell me how is this different from the dreamers program.
