Where I live we have security guards at all schools, some teachers have personal weapons, and in general lots of people walk around with military grade weapons (which are allowed in schools). Can’t recall ever having a school shooting so guns aren’t the problem.
Yeah, there are like a handful of states/municipalities that allow it afaik
Here in the social justice capital of the united states however, that's a big nono
Frisco?
The problem with armed security is the cost
And that in public schools it would be taxpayers money
Better to spend it on security than stupid social programs.
Bray areayylmao only
not SF
(Thankfully)
Just cut wasteful expenses and start funding security (also creates new jobs).
actually most campuses already have security
But really, I think one gaurd and only the main entrance unlocked to the outside might have helped. If there was a button that trigger an internal lockdown and the procedure of "if you see a person with a fucking long gun, press button first ask questions later", it might have helped some
they just aren't armed at all
Security might as well not be security if they aren’t armed.
red alert button might be good but
I dunno how effective it'll be
Everyone armed to the teeth
students, teachers
janitors
the principal with a deagle brand deagle
A nun that happened to be there
I still question how a dude with a long gun gets into a school unnoticed
Can take it apart and put it into a bag.
Then assemble in the bathroom or something.
Did he actually have a standard non-sbr upper?
I have not seen dick pix
Because he could have just bought a 11.4 or 10" upper and illegally slapped it on his rifle lower
it's not like those components are restricted

"Although a referendum will be held, the government has indicated it plans for the law to nevertheless to go into effect on 1 May 2018."
Yeah, they basically openly stated that the result of the referendum doesn't matter, they'll ignore any 'no' result.
Yeah, they already know the majority of people are against this. They know the people will vote "incorrectly".
This law will allow people's devices to be hacked, but also those of friends, relatives, family etc.
They will also be allowed to tap ALL internet traffic, request information from any company or governmental databases and exchange this info with other secret services.
Basically, it's about mass surveillance.
