the cult is actually called like SM or something

but its NXIVM members who started it and claim that the guy who started nxivm started SM

so Im trying to avoid doing too much into NXIVM because its dangerous legal territory and not a lot is confirmed

but when they claim the knife is a sex cult because The Knife is run by people in NXIVM and the SM Sex cult has people in NXIVM it looks a bit contrived

though NXIVM sounds culty for sure

The Knife seems objectively ok though, but I do quetion their motives

Yeah, the Knife does great work. It’s the motivations and potential funding of a cult that turns me off.

Who fact checks the fact checkers? Eventually you need some sort of leap of faith.

and that's nothing new. it's just easier to notice that because you fact check most things yourself

although I dont think thats anything new, it does seem past time something was done

if its done right I think the "wisdom of crowd" thing will come through... but if its left anonymous or made too easy to set up bot accounts it could backfire

But i think the breaking point is that more and more truth is available, because of normal people reporting on social media and those that bring it to fight back against the media,

So with that much availability, its easier to notice the media is full of bull, AND you can persuade more people because beforehand it was like "Well do you have any evidence?" and you go "errr....nooo?" and get called a conspiracy theorist,

Now you can just throw the proof at people

Just leave people to choose to be anonymous or named. Both have value.

its a tricky thing to handle tho ... its not like you can just "#fakenews" an article... for example the thing with pewdiepie .. he DID have hitler in some of his videos, he did have the death to jews sign... but the media took it all seriously and out of context... its like... partial truths, without any specific lies

and all that might happen, is they get more clever about only telling truths but still out of context

@Deadpool If the guys in the grooming gang not only have no issue with going to jail, but often try to go to jail, then Tommy risking their court case isn't really a valid concern is it? It would be more of a punishment for them if they didn't go to jail, that is what Tommy was pointing out. The fact that they groom/rape people and enjoy the opportunity to recruit in jail is the problem, the problem is definitely not that Tommy may have jeopardise them going to jail, the problem is that they are allowed to remain in the country
