If someone thinks literal depictions of monkeys is 'blackface' they're probably racist.

2018-12-15 00:52:14 UTC

These hard-core authoritarian leftists are worse than Nazis.

2018-12-15 02:08:11 UTC

Um no

2018-12-15 02:08:54 UTC

I do not like them but actual Nazis are worse

"The case could have broader implications for social media and other media outlets. In particular, a broad ruling from the high court could open the country's largest technology companies up to First Amendment lawsuits."

2018-12-15 02:49:40 UTC

"The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case that could determine whether users can challenge social media companies on free speech grounds.
The case, Manhattan Community Access Corp. v. Halleck, No. 17-702, centers on whether a private operator of a public access television network is considered a state actor, which can be sued for First Amendment violations."

This is interesting - use a translator. https://sverigesradio.se/sida/artikel.aspx?programid=83&artikel=7110769
"Ekologisk mat dålig för klimatet"
"Ecological food is bad for the climate"

2018-12-15 04:10:41 UTC

"Ecological food is considerably worse for the climate than conventionally produced food. This is claimed by a researcher at Chalmers University in Gothenburg, referencing the results of a new, partially Swedish, scientific study."

lol, the fact that organic food hurts the environment has been known for a while now.

@Mimi There's a lot of overlap, but it is really pedophiles that run the world, not the Jews.

The director of the moon landing would know.

In the article they link to the blog post. Read the post and then the complaints. These guys are insane.

Im gonna say it for the 6846th time:
Adding heavy taxes on things like fuel & electricity hits the working class, or anyone else that requires a car to go to work, the most.
Its one of the key reasons the yellow vests are a thing.
A bunch of academics recently came out saying the same thing.
But frankly, you dont need academics to come to this conclusion, all you need is knowledge of the fact that public transport doesnt drive early nor late enough for people working in shifts in these areas. Hence you require a car.
Only big corporations like oil refineries have the finances to facilitate transport for their workers (some do here).

And thats without going into the politics of this shit.
Its all easy to be for this stuff when you work a 9-5 job in the middle of a city AND live in or near the city.
Plenty of public transport available, using a car to enter a carfree city center is stupid anyhow.
But yeah, trying to get people like that to realize this fact is like talking to a brick wall.

Long, but very hot off the press. Insight into where the Trump Administration wants to take US healthcare.

2018-12-15 14:16:05 UTC

As a provider and receiver of healthcare in the US, I'd say there are some good ideas and some not-so-good ideas. Nothing worthy of hyperbole, although I'm sure that won't stop some people who feel the need for the dopamine rush that comes from panic.

2018-12-15 14:17:51 UTC

Some people sky dive. Some people drive fast cars. Some people hyperventilate over news. Whatever floats your boat and keeps you from turning to heroin.

Tim has called Republicans "stupid" for not taking the censorship of their base seriously. This could be more proof of this or the surest sign they really just don't care.

Little of column A, little of column B.

2018-12-15 14:28:46 UTC

Most Republicans are happy to be the Washington Generals. It's more profitable to be controlled opposition.

Well, they're going to be marching to Google's beat soon if they don't do something. And Google probably doesn't like them as much as they think they like Google.

2018-12-15 14:29:50 UTC

Dumbasses, all of them.

2018-12-15 14:30:40 UTC

I've always had concerns that the new NAFTA might have provisions that are objectionable, but I wouldn't have expected an expansion of Section 230.

2018-12-15 14:30:52 UTC

Proposed by the US (Trump) of all people.
