The problem is that there's been this stigmatism against immigrants to the point that even Legal ones are looked down on to a degree or assumed to be illegal.... personally I want the border to become so damn secure that anyone who claims to be an immigrant is welcomed by a community rather than ostracized for supposed illegality
But "some people" believe America is bad.... they believe anyone should be allowed in.... they believe we should take care of the poor and destitute.... and while I agree to this in an extent... this morality only works on small scale... when done large scale it creates a group of people who are taught to abuse the system to survive.... "Symbiotic parasites to the political party that feeds them"
I live and work with Latinos, some are my good friends.... nothing hits quite as hard as hearing how one's boyfriend is an illegal and she now is worrying about how he could be deported because he's had run ins with the police.... it makes me think.... are there more situations like this.... trying to have a relationship with someone who is a citizen... to maybe get married and have children.... and deep down it makes me wonder if they are lying to stay here, lying about love... playing on the emotions of someone else.... it feels wrong to me
Stuff like this also undermines the public opinion of immigrants....

I see too many fresh kids come out of high school that don't have the backbone to give solid work....
Apprentices are risky for the business.... they don't know what to do, may break things, and may end up working for a rival company

Religion is a tricky thing to teach.... because SOMEONE will get their panties in a bunch that THEIR religion wasn't taught (or taught right)
Philosophy is more open to interpretation.... Religion.... not so much in some cases
Even if you don't believe the stories of religion you can still enjoy them or the morals behind them..... I love Greek Mythology even if I don't believe they are real
David and Goliath is a great story even if you aren't religious
Some things like the Bible's "Proverbs" hold a lot of wisdom (even if you may not agree with the more religious ones)
