hello
Sayaka > Homura
Are there actual flat earthers here?
or another troll server
ok cool
Flat earthers are unfortunately an endangered species
oh, indio007 is here
he banned me from his server for posting earth-chan
no, they never have valid points for what they say
unless it's not related to flat earth
the main servers where the majority are flat earthers are karen b's server and 24/7 mostly level
im just here because im banned from one and muted on the other
I VCed karen a few times
heheheh
that's karen's
not really
well
maybe
karen had a good reason to ban me
karen as in the karen B
she's the most karen of all the karens
yep
she's mentally unstable IMO
she banned me because I questioned her morality when she was talking about how mass shootings are fake
๐
just earlier, some dumbass was ranting about how vaccines are made out of baby brains
me and a few others asked him to show proof
he said 'search it yourself'
one of the guys searched it and said he found nothing. then the flerfer lost it and posted a wikipedia link and muted the three of us
so it turns out this idiot misread the article
*surprised pikachu face* wow didnt see that coming
can you unban me from your server @indio007
I promise i wont post earth-chan pics anymore
Oh heyyy there
Fancy meeting you here @Akhanyatin
The globe earth can be proven mathematically.
It was also proven 2000 years ago by an experiment performed by Aristotle
Using the Pythagorean theorem and the sun
Okay. Gravity proves the globe earth.
Gravity itself was demonstrated in the Cavendish experiment
^ I encourage you to ask him why he thinks the cavendish experiment is flawed
Speaking of testing things for yourself, you can spot the ISS using an amateur telescope @Teddy
No need to trust pictures online.
^ flat earthers have attempted this experiment in the past, and have failed
I have seen this experiment demonstrated twice. Once on national geographic, at which flat earthers claimed it was fake. And second, done by flat earthers themselves near the end of the flat Earth documentary on Netflix.
Memes don't make your opinion stronger.
No @Teddy
See: Coriolis effect
You have no proof for that @Mathieus the Walking Witness
Also, curvature calculators. Flat earthers often claim that this proves that the earth is flat because it is inaccurate. The thing is, they don't account for atmospheric refraction in their calculations. You can perform your own tests and find calculate how much of an object in the distance should be hidden quite accurately. @Teddy
The sun on the flat Earth model also does impossible things. On a flat plane, as the sun gets further away, it would not go below the horizon if it was all flat. It would fade into the distance slowly.
Its impossible on a flat surface for an object above that surface to visibly go below it.
Simply from moving further away, ofc
Boats also disappear over the horizon bottom up, interestingly. Just like with the sun, they should not have a preferred direction of fading into the distance.
Atmospheric refraction already allows for us to see the boat further away than we normally would. Atmospheric refraction doesn't cause boats to disappear bottom up, as far as I'm concerned.
Top to down?
Anyway. Good luck to you with your search for proof. Globe earthers can sometimes be as dumb as flat earthers and will spout nonsense, though, but I hope this conversation helped you learn something new. @Teddy
There is none
They deny it.
They claim density and buoyancy are forces independent of gravity - however they are not.
๐
I have a question for you. What do you believe is a replacement for gravity? Is it density/buoyancy? @rivenator12113
You guys are smarter than me <:worried:485147448503697421>
That's a cool way to think about it
That is a belief stated by the FE society
Flat earthers disassociste themselves from it
Call it 'government controlled opposition'
Personally, I think the flat Earth society was one of the earlier incarnations of flat Earth ideas, before they realized that they can't explain away gravity and a few other things blocking their way at the time.
I agree
When FE society was thoroughly debunked flat earthers decided to switch to more ambiguous and contrived ideas and completely disassocisted themselves from math as well as science as normally understood
No clue
When I get unmuted on another server that's another question I have waiting
Kek
aw man
hah
I wish it was that easy to break the laws of physics
nothing, I'm just reading your time travel shenanigans
It's physically impossible to time travel within the constraints of our universe.
Yeah, pretty much
"The concept of a "scalar field theory"[5] also exists, and plays an important role in several branches of physics. In comparison, "scalar waves" have never been observed in nature, and are rooted in sound physics about as well as the average chemtrail is rooted to the ground (not at all)"
lmao
Tachyon particles are as close as you can get to time travel
And even still most scientists don't believe they exist.
yes @BigCal
Okay
In order for a particle to travel faster than light, it would need to have infinite energy.
IDK, maybe 100 years in the future
Okay
How does one detect scalar waves? @BigCal
What properties of aluminum or copper allow them to attract scalar waves, specifically out of all other materials? @BigCal
not everyone here is a flat earther dumbass @Branch
So you don't know why metal is able to collect it better?
Okay
That's a rather interesting theory
Is there mathematical proof for the existence of scalar waves?
I'd like a link
ok
Interesting
The document theorizes that scalar waves could be a potential solution to the Maxwell equation and uses the math to do so, but it never confirms or proves that they exist. It's a really big maybe. @BigCal
Wait
