I am unironically interested in birdwatching

I suppose I need to pay my dues? Read something about a guidebook and Pledge Orientation...?

When are the pledge orientations generally held?

Just a goofy username, nothing more

An email and Skype acct I made to establish contact.

Probably a dumb question, but what do y'all see as my displayed username?

I changed it under settings and in some places it's displayed to what I changed it to, which is Mick

Ok. I was asked to change it a few days ago and thought I had.

That was my default username.

๐Ÿ‘Ž

I'm so far away, I don't know if I'll ever make one of these orientations. Can I get a summary of what need to know?

@Deleted User Yeah, but aren't they done live? The time difference, for me, is kind of prohibitive (6hrs from std est).

@Deleted User LOL. I was aware they weren't done irl. I can definitely make it (most) Saturdays.

Is it all chat based or is there some skype action?

Ok. And we just interact with him as applicable?

Ok, cool. That's sort of what I figured (hence asking for a summary of sorts). I'll just have to keep a lookout for a weekend orientation

Yes. I have memorized genealogy of morals, ride the tiger, cover to cover.

There's a free response section as well?

I'm not woke enough to speak to the benefits of ice chewing

I'll try to make it, no guarantee. Working with a big time difference.

2018-10-30 01:23:42 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

i want to participate in activism, i just can't atm

2018-10-30 01:25:26 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

Understood. I do want to network and talk with others about forming communities and that sort of thing.

2018-10-30 01:25:34 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

I won't be in Hawaii forever

2018-10-30 01:27:10 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

I might be able to. I just have to be careful. Not in the private sector if you know what I mean.

2018-10-30 01:28:44 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

Yeah, I was thinking I'd need to "recon" a little beforehand

2018-10-30 01:30:01 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

Sounds good. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys irl.

2018-10-30 02:32:54 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

this might seem like a dumb question, but who is my coordinator?

2018-10-30 02:33:11 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

is it the same as my interviewer?

2018-10-30 02:44:34 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Reinhard Wolff any idea when/where the annual meetup will be this year?

2018-10-30 02:45:19 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

Ok. thanks

2018-10-31 01:07:30 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

Fireside meeting?

2018-11-01 00:51:31 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

The sooner I know where it is, the sooner I will know if I can afford it right now (I'm in HI).

2018-11-01 00:56:00 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

Maybe the state? I'm all the way in Hawaii and not exactly flush with cash. I'll need a rough idea of location to gauge the cost.

2018-11-01 00:56:35 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

I guess I can register then refund if I can't do it?

2018-11-01 01:27:56 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Reinhard Wolff Do you trust Faith Goldy?

2018-11-01 01:48:44 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Reinhard Wolff Do you trust Faith Goldy?

2018-11-01 01:58:36 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Reinhard Wolff LOL. the old F.G.Q.

2018-11-01 01:59:45 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@VinceChaos I'll have to check that out. Not sure how I feel about her at this point

2018-11-01 02:03:07 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Reinhard Wolff Didn't mean to put you on the spot. It's good to know that you'll at least address the tough questions. Didn't expect a clear position as I think we're all over the place with the FGQ

2018-11-01 02:06:31 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Reinhard Wolff Over the 3 days of the conference, what will the setting(s) be on a day-to-day basis, and the expected attire? I've never been to one of these things, can you give an overview of what to expect?

2018-11-01 02:12:52 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Reinhard Wolff What book did you pick up?

2018-11-01 02:13:10 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@CarletonJ Lit club? I'd love to join!

2018-11-01 02:14:48 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Reinhard Wolff So suit for one day? Business casual for the rest of the time (excluding other misc. attire for sparing or what have you)?

2018-11-01 02:15:30 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Reinhard Wolff Have you read 4th pol theory? Thoughts?

2018-11-01 02:16:00 UTC [Literature Club #general]

2018-11-01 02:17:09 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Nemets I think he's an interesting perspective. Why don't you like him/his ideas?

2018-11-01 02:18:53 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Nemets Over my head I guess.

2018-11-01 02:23:45 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Nemets Well Dugin, and Russians, have a different perspective on what the way forward should look like, ie 4th theory. Different interests, values, etc. I'm no "Duginist", just enjoyed getting his angle on things.

2018-11-01 02:28:01 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Nemets Agreed. I can't carry the discussion much further than that out of not having a strong position on Dugin to begin with and out of ignorance

2018-11-01 02:31:41 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

@Nemets been meaning to read solzhenitsyn. I have a historical fiction (I think) book of his I've yet to read.

Thank you for these excerpts and suggestions, many of which I've been planning to read. What's the plan with the book club? Discuss weekly? End of month?

2018-11-08 02:37:32 UTC [Nice Respectable People Group #general]

What's your/IE's relationship with Spencer? I've noticed Spencer and others in the Alt-Right appear to be distancing themselves from one another. Do you have a take on this, generally/personally?

2018-11-17 05:40:23 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Anyone else done with this one? Who's up for starting up the next one? Anyway, what's next on the list?

2018-11-18 02:00:56 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Guess I wasn't the only one.

2018-11-19 01:05:09 UTC [Literature Club #discussion_botm]

Women tend to feign masculinity, and they do it poorly/weirdly. And they're often more exaggerated with how they go about it because there's no real fear of physical repercussions.

2018-11-19 01:06:16 UTC [Literature Club #discussion_botm]

The only time dudes go as far is if they're too drunk or they're ready to go so to speak

2018-11-19 01:15:18 UTC [Literature Club #discussion_botm]

I think it's a good book for a high school magapede to read

2018-11-19 01:15:29 UTC [Literature Club #discussion_botm]

A young zoomer

2018-11-19 01:16:38 UTC [Literature Club #discussion_botm]

I'm thinking of gifting it to my little bro since he's already a Trumpist.

2018-11-19 01:19:58 UTC [Literature Club #discussion_botm]

rules for radicals, i haven't read it

2018-11-19 01:23:26 UTC [Literature Club #discussion_botm]

2018-11-19 01:23:36 UTC [Literature Club #discussion_botm]

2018-11-26 03:03:08 UTC [Literature Club #discussion_botm]

So what's the schedule for this one?

2018-12-02 23:43:54 UTC [Literature Club #general]

I reading International Jew rn

2018-12-04 04:16:18 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Like 20% in on my kindle. It's really comprehensive and multi-faceted in the way he brings the information to the reader. Fills you in through many angles, perspectives, examples both past and present, etc. I love that Henry Ford is the source too. Clearly a brilliant man that many normie Americans hold in a positive light.

2018-12-04 04:19:05 UTC [Literature Club #general]

By source I meant author but source in the sense that that's who you wanna sight when talking with those close to you. Not some obscure Jew or random article from the 20's. Ford holds some authority in the minds of many whites.

2018-12-15 06:37:24 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Anyone in here interested in irl community building? I have some ideas I'd like to share

2018-12-15 06:39:22 UTC [Literature Club #general]

My idea focuses around homeschooling.

2018-12-15 06:39:43 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Deep down, I want a commune, but that's unrealistic for me.

2018-12-15 06:40:16 UTC [Literature Club #general]

I want to cast a wider net. Something easier to get behind. Higher numbers

2018-12-15 06:40:30 UTC [Literature Club #general]

That's ok. Me neither. No girl either.

2018-12-15 06:40:45 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Adjust your time preference my nibba!

2018-12-15 06:41:27 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Enough people you live close enough to to homeschool each other's kids.

2018-12-15 06:41:44 UTC [Literature Club #general]

With the goal of acquiring property and building an actual schoolhouse

2018-12-15 06:43:01 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Whether it's suburban, urban, rural, find a land close enough to build the structure where each and everyone can potentially commute to.

2018-12-15 06:46:06 UTC [Literature Club #general]

It came from me realizing that: I want a family; community; want to have kids educated outside of globohomo with strong values; this necessitates community since homeschooling your kids totally solo makes your kids weird; eventually will need a schoolhouse to further formalize and grow said community

2018-12-15 06:47:03 UTC [Literature Club #general]

it's radical but much easier to get enough people behind vs. a full on commune imo

2018-12-15 06:47:36 UTC [Literature Club #general]

physical structures and space is powerful

2018-12-15 06:48:00 UTC [Literature Club #general]

I'm open to location.

2018-12-15 06:48:09 UTC [Literature Club #general]

It's a shareable idea

2018-12-15 06:48:20 UTC [Literature Club #general]

something I want to talk out with interested parties

2018-12-15 06:48:52 UTC [Literature Club #general]

the idea is getting enough folks in the same area to really move forward with it.

2018-12-15 06:50:01 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Combination of reaching out via IE and locally, both tough in differing ways, to form a large enough group.

2018-12-15 06:50:38 UTC [Literature Club #general]

May or may not necessitate relocating for some.

2018-12-15 06:51:39 UTC [Literature Club #general]

It's a tangible project that, for me, is exciting. Building a schoolhouse. Our own institution

2018-12-15 06:52:21 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Even if you're single and broke, you can still offer up sweat equity. Contribute any way you can.

2018-12-15 06:53:05 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Those with families already can get involved with their own kids for the sake of their future kids and/or kids' kids.

2018-12-15 06:53:54 UTC [Literature Club #general]

No one in this movement, and those on the peripheries, are in the same point in life.

2018-12-15 06:54:36 UTC [Literature Club #general]

It won't be about just your own immediate family right now, it's working towards an ideal and getting as many involved as possible.

2018-12-15 06:55:18 UTC [Literature Club #general]

That's the main thrust of my idea, your thoughts?

2018-12-15 06:55:29 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Any ideas you'd like to share?

2018-12-15 06:58:20 UTC [Literature Club #general]

There definitely are. They're just often VERY leftist or fundamentalist Christian. I don't relate to either.

2018-12-15 06:59:15 UTC [Literature Club #general]

I'm fine with faith, and having it in school. I just don't want the school to be a de facto religious program

2018-12-15 07:00:21 UTC [Literature Club #general]

Yeah, bad. I'm less concerned with the curriculum.
