If you are able to get some pals and just go backpacking or camping for a weekend or so it can help. Every couple of months I go with some guys from youth camping, I always feel very fresh after. Even one night sleeping outside can rejuvenate someone significantly.

Go to a not Mormon local Church's service one Sunday, or any other religions place of congregation.

The main problem is that people divide for petty issues or minor ideological differences rather than uniting over similar ones.
