Seeing as our politicians are having trouble coming up with a solution for the back-stop, which seems to be the lynchpin for any UK-EU withdrawal agreement, I thought I'd apply some commonsense and see what everyone else thought?

@Pondo - you'd only catch Britishness @Lêohte - yep, and our derivatives: USA, Canada, Australia, etc, and the modern world. Unless you are taking genetics and then it gets a little more complex, as we have indigenous which can called British, along with all those who subscribe to being British and our morality. For example, English is an ethnicity, as well as a legal definition, but a foreigner cannot become an Englishman, no more than I can become a Chinaman, but offspring might.

@Lêohte - yeah, there is a blood element to the ethnic part, which ties into one type of British, and yes I am a 'nationalist' but not in the European sense, I am a nationalist in the British sense that wants to protect the systems and freedoms we have, the British way of doing things. I'll be writing about that at the moment, but it's taking a fucking long time 😃

@Lêohte - come again? Limited migration is like new blood in horse breeding, we take the best and brightest and mix 'em in. Mass immigration is foolish and traitorous and it destroys the very systems we are trying to uphold. In that sense limited migration does preserve the integrity of the blood line of my people, and the first step is those who want to become British (hence the difference between the British and the 'British').

@Lêohte - if you look at British genetics we are quite uniform across all four countries, but we are a hybrid mixture. Best of the best.

@Lêohte - so was my answer, with limited immigration the changes to the British genetic structure is minimal over the long term due to 'breed out', just as the impact of all our past invaders is minimal. I do not agree with mass immigration , as that is an invasion by another name.

@aWildTomAppeared - mixed oil paint is not even close to true black. A true black would absorb all light, like a black hole. Some paints are very good absorbers of light, but you are not mixing it on your pallet. https://www.sciencealert.com/this-object-has-been-sprayed-with-the-world-s-blackest-pigment-and-it-s-freaking-us-out 😉 of course, if you take all the light away, like down a mine, then you get some good blacks, but that's less a property of the paint, and more the absence of all light (there would still be some IR from body heat, but we cannot see that without a special camera)

@aWildTomAppeared - we was talking about white light vs black paint, where black paint is usually judged in a lit room, and may be perceptually to many 'black', but to some, not so much - it's an unfair comparison. That was my point, and it was meant to be light hearted jab at your hypothetical black supremacist; the 'perfection' of the white light vs the imperfection of the black paint, in response to your light hearted joke 😉
