I've had a Bitcoin wallet with like 0.001 in it just sitting for the last couple years. Lol.
I'm holding monero, it's like bitcoin but untraceable, hope it goes up more
I like monero, not a fan of having just one address though. I can't publicly post one address to receive donations and a different one for private transactions.
You could make another address for donations and post that one. Multiple addresses are allowed in a single wallet iirc.
Maybe. I haven't used it in a couple years.
I just got in a couple mos ago, could have changed
Iโm not into all the cryptoโs yet but I know a lot ab normal finance
Sadly IRAs and 401ks are all dependent on the state so...
Nowโs the time to buy stocks
ERX is a good one
Its eh
put it in berk.b
forget about it
bitcoin, Probably see a return on that in a year
I got shitted on by crypto. I lost thousands when it crashed a couple year back. Havenโt invested in it since. Economy is down. Lots of cheap stocks out there now
Donโt even fuss with individual stocks
Index funds and let them ride
My 401k is back up to where it was before the start of this covid shit
Iโd be more worried ab long term effects
reminds me that I need to move my 401k from my old job to my new job
Just remembered, there's a mutual fund that my economics professor suggested as supposedly it consistently outperforms the S&P 500. "AMAGX"
still pretty closely matches it, though it doesn't seem to dump as hard as the rest of the stock market when things turn south. I forgot what it was, but he said something about being ran with islamic principles, specifically excluding certain types of businesses.
islamic principles also means (mostly) no interest rate on loans. or very low rates.
I wanna say he said they don't have any stock that has to do with banking companies
> islamic principles also means (mostly) no interest rate on loans. or very low rates.
@Thecoolnerd98 Christian doctrine also condemns usury, unlike Talmudic Judaism.
Unfortunately thats rarely followed anymore
I cashed my 401k out a while ago. Yeah I had to pay taxes and penalty and no longer get employer matching. But I've literally doubled my return rate by re-investing everything myself. Plus I can take out the money whenever I want now without asking for permission or getting slapped with penalties and taxes. Obviously dont do this if you dont have any clue about investing.
Fucking taxes
Taxation is theft
Indeed
It is, indeed
Good evening gents.
I disagree
Daily reminder that taxation is theft
I was trying for a drive by argument and y'all just took it
Hey fellow people that agree that taxation is theft
TAXES ARE THE PRICE WE PAY FOR CIVILIZED SOCIETY!!
Now fight me bitches
Taxes arenโt inherently evil
If they were voluntary
Ah yes, I feel like giving my money to a wasteful and inefficient bureaucracy that never ends.
Then donโt
I just said voluntary
But thats the issue isn't it. The application of force is required for taxes. I think a return to the system pre 1900 would work. Tax products. Most of the government's money was derived from the tax on alcohol before income taxes. And we did ok. Not great but we we're capable of building roads and a navy
Not if itโs voluntary
I donโt agree with a forced tax
And on that note a Dan "Taxation is Theft " Behrman staffer enters the chat. ๐๐๐
Expected market analytics or something. No... same shit, different chat. ๐๐๐
Dividend investing has been working out rather well for me with this Covid shit lol
Gotta yolo spy puts then swap to calls the next day. Stay one step ahead of JPOW and his magic printer
