I've had a Bitcoin wallet with like 0.001 in it just sitting for the last couple years. Lol.
I'm holding monero, it's like bitcoin but untraceable, hope it goes up more
I like monero, not a fan of having just one address though. I can't publicly post one address to receive donations and a different one for private transactions.
You could make another address for donations and post that one. Multiple addresses are allowed in a single wallet iirc.
Maybe. I haven't used it in a couple years.
I just got in a couple mos ago, could have changed
I’m not into all the crypto’s yet but I know a lot ab normal finance
Sadly IRAs and 401ks are all dependent on the state so...
ERX is a good one
Its eh
put it in berk.b
forget about it
bitcoin, Probably see a return on that in a year
I got shitted on by crypto. I lost thousands when it crashed a couple year back. Haven’t invested in it since. Economy is down. Lots of cheap stocks out there now
Don’t even fuss with individual stocks
Index funds and let them ride
My 401k is back up to where it was before the start of this covid shit
I’d be more worried ab long term effects
reminds me that I need to move my 401k from my old job to my new job
Just remembered, there's a mutual fund that my economics professor suggested as supposedly it consistently outperforms the S&P 500. "AMAGX"
still pretty closely matches it, though it doesn't seem to dump as hard as the rest of the stock market when things turn south. I forgot what it was, but he said something about being ran with islamic principles, specifically excluding certain types of businesses.
islamic principles also means (mostly) no interest rate on loans. or very low rates.
I wanna say he said they don't have any stock that has to do with banking companies
> islamic principles also means (mostly) no interest rate on loans. or very low rates.
@Thecoolnerd98 Christian doctrine also condemns usury, unlike Talmudic Judaism.
Unfortunately thats rarely followed anymore
I cashed my 401k out a while ago. Yeah I had to pay taxes and penalty and no longer get employer matching. But I've literally doubled my return rate by re-investing everything myself. Plus I can take out the money whenever I want now without asking for permission or getting slapped with penalties and taxes. Obviously dont do this if you dont have any clue about investing.
Fucking taxes
