Wtf are you guys talking about.

4th political theory/Duginism

2017-09-09 17:53:31 UTC

@ะŸั€ะฐะฒะพัะปะฐะฒะธะต I think 4th position is masquerading as well.

2017-09-09 17:54:33 UTC

Explain how it is similar to fascism?

I'd rather hear your opinion on the matter.

2017-09-09 17:56:28 UTC

Well, both fascism and duginism claims to be syncretic. .

2017-09-09 17:56:33 UTC

This is similar

2017-09-09 17:57:20 UTC

Fascism was openly corporatist

I don't think most fascists have a grasp on what they're even preaching

So I agree that they don't care about it

2017-09-09 18:07:14 UTC

@ะŸั€ะฐะฒะพัะปะฐะฒะธะต The main difference is that one have grasp and another don't?

2017-09-09 18:07:50 UTC

@ะŸั€ะฐะฒะพัะปะฐะฒะธะต is 4th position more advanced form of fascism?

2017-09-09 18:08:00 UTC

With better people?

@Firefly#9983 I wouldn't say it's a more advanced fascism. It's essential taking the two ideologies (communism and fascism) which combatted liberalism/capitalism/globalism/Western imperialism or whatever you want to call it in the 20th century and fusing them or taking the pieces of their ideologies which worked and expanding upon them. The main goal of 4th position is to oppose post-liberalism, which is the current state of 20th century liberalism-capitalism-Atlanticist imperialism, and end the unipolar world domination of the West. From a geopolitical perspective, the end goal of 4PT is every culture or civilization in the world basically being in charge of its own affairs.

I mean for the most part it was western countries fighting each other, but it's expansion into Eurasia I would consider Western imperialism

2017-09-09 18:22:56 UTC

So 4th position is a combination of a western imperialism(fascism) with anti-imperialism(communism) ?

2017-09-09 18:28:30 UTC

Fascism is manipulated based on the nation which is implementing it to fit within its respective cultural traditions, what nations like America and Britain exported to the world was basically "be like us and kill your inferior culture!" While countries were exploited by their fascist conquerors, countries which actually implemented fascism weren't having to get rid of their traditions to do it and in many cases it was part of a national rebirth.

Talk later @Firefly#9983

tankies in a nutshell

2017-09-09 22:59:31 UTC

*... after their mortality is highlighted, individuals feel the need to experience a sense of certain or clarity about their worldviews-the values and purpose in society. These worldviews stipulate the standards that are valued by society. If these standards are fulfilled, individuals feel their achievements will be cherished by society, instilling a sense of permanence. Accordingly, these worldviews imbue life with a sense of meaning and purpose.*

2017-09-09 23:01:13 UTC

*Alternatively, to override existential anxiety, individuals are more inclined to assume that some facet of themselves, perhaps their soul, is immortal. They do, for example, become more inclined to believe in an afterlife (Dechesne et al., 2006).*

2017-09-09 23:01:39 UTC

*Many researchers maintain that a variety of religious tenets, such as the belief in an afterlife, represent defense mechanisms, intended to curb existential anxiety (Norenzayan & Hansen, 2006).*

2017-09-09 23:03:37 UTC

Tito is the best

2017-09-09 23:08:54 UTC

*Becker describes human pursuit of โ€œimmortality projectsโ€ (or causa sui), in which an we create or become part of something that we feel will outlast our time on earth. In doing so, we feel that we become heroic and part of something eternal that will never die, compared to the physical body that will eventually die. This gives human beings the belief that our lives have meaning, purpose, and significance in the grand scheme of things.*

2017-09-09 23:09:54 UTC

*Still, for Becker, the only suitable source of meaning is transcendent, cosmic energy, divine purpose:

"But I donโ€™t think one can be a hero in any really elevating sense without some transcendental referent like being a hero for God, or for the creative powers of the universe. The most exalted type of heroism involves feeling that one has lived to some purpose that transcends oneself. This is why religion gives him the validation that nothing else gives him. โ€ฆ When you finally break through your character armor and discover your vulnerability, it becomes impossible to live without massive anxiety unless you find a new power source. And this is where the idea of God comes in (Keen 1974)."*

2017-09-09 23:15:32 UTC

*Science attempts to serve as an immortality project, something that Becker believes it can never do, because it is unable to provide agreeable, absolute meanings to human life.*

2017-09-09 23:22:47 UTC

*...the only suitable source of meaning is transcendent, cosmic energy, divine purpose*

2017-09-09 23:22:54 UTC

**divine purpose**

2017-09-09 23:30:51 UTC

*Thus, since humanity has a dualistic nature consisting of a physical self and a symbolic self, we are able to transcend the dilemma of mortality through heroism, by focusing our attention mainly on our symbolic selves. This symbolic self-focus takes the form of an individual's "immortality project" (or "causa sui project"), which is essentially a symbolic belief-system that ensures oneself is believed superior to physical reality. By successfully living under the terms of the immortality project, people feel they can become heroic and, henceforth, part of something eternal; something that will never die as compared to their physical body. This, in turn, gives people the feeling that their lives have meaning, a purpose, and are significant in the grand scheme of things.*

@๐Ÿ…ฑhost ๐Ÿ…ฑalaxies#6270 Rick and morty is an intelliectual show.

2017-09-10 05:07:57 UTC

It's not even good art

2017-09-10 05:08:11 UTC

Is it purely gross out? I'm assuming it is.

2017-09-10 05:26:41 UTC

Is anarchocomminism a meme?

2017-09-10 05:29:25 UTC

@Chalin No, it's real. Not a very convincing theory, but it exists unironically by many Anarchists.

2017-09-10 05:30:16 UTC

It seems equally if not more nonsensical than ancap

2017-09-10 05:30:44 UTC

Because communism requires the state to own the property

2017-09-10 05:30:57 UTC

But you can't have state owned property without a state

2017-09-10 05:31:14 UTC

Chalin, I haven't read up on it but supporters of it are very defensive.

2017-09-10 05:31:21 UTC

It should be called anarchomarxism or something else

2017-09-10 05:31:39 UTC

If it is a legitimate ideology, it's name is poorly chosen

2017-09-10 05:32:26 UTC

Oh boy. Where do I start and can I be bothered.

2017-09-10 05:32:52 UTC

I can't.

2017-09-10 05:33:08 UTC

How about the name. Is there a more accurate name for it?

2017-09-10 05:33:51 UTC

Marxism uses Socialism to reach Communism. AnCom just detroys the state to achieve communism. I agree it's pretty retarded.

2017-09-10 05:34:14 UTC

But there are insurrectionists who believe in continued fighting against the state post-revolution.

2017-09-10 05:34:25 UTC

It hasn't been tried yet.

2017-09-10 05:34:30 UTC

As I am aware it abolishes the state functions, capitalism and private property for common ownership. Not sure how that works.

2017-09-10 05:34:43 UTC

Sounds too crazy for me to read and take seriously.

2017-09-10 05:34:57 UTC

The main problem with anarchism is that in order for it to succeed post-revolution is resorts to authoritarianism through necessity.

2017-09-10 05:35:13 UTC

I mean, in the past it has.

2017-09-10 05:35:33 UTC

Its hard to prevent anarchy from devolving either into a state, or into barbarism

2017-09-10 05:35:37 UTC

Insurrectionists think they can maintain an indefinite guerrilla war.

2017-09-10 05:35:58 UTC

And this is seen as the height of Anarchist thought.

2017-09-10 05:36:10 UTC

I unironically sympathised with this. Because it's fun.

2017-09-10 05:36:47 UTC

I don't consider any violent means to be a legitimate way of dealing with a state who isn't violent to its own citizens

2017-09-10 05:37:00 UTC

I mean if you thrive in an anarchist society it doesn't seem so bad. Don't know how long would last like that though.

2017-09-10 05:37:16 UTC

The only reason the state exists is through threat of violence. Think about that.

2017-09-10 05:37:47 UTC

I would hate to be a woman or a retard in anarchism.

2017-09-10 05:38:17 UTC

I accept just violence used to maintain society.

2017-09-10 05:38:38 UTC

Anarchism doesn't mean Chaos. This is somewhat a misunderstanding politically.

2017-09-10 05:39:05 UTC

I think anarchism in all forms will lead to chaos. That's just my belief.

2017-09-10 05:39:15 UTC

Alright.

2017-09-10 05:39:25 UTC

I don't consider it bad when a state chooses to pacify a violent individual with controlled violence

2017-09-10 05:39:44 UTC

Anarchism isn't sustainable, given human nature

2017-09-10 05:39:50 UTC

Communists would agree.

2017-09-10 05:40:32 UTC

Is this a communism server?

2017-09-10 05:40:34 UTC

Anarchists think that people are generally good, that's their view on human nature and why they think it would work.

2017-09-10 05:41:07 UTC

It's leftypol, what else would it be @Deleted User
