Interesting group. https://www.facebook.com/sspx.resistance
anyone listen to pastor steven andersonโs sermons on Youtube? he is orthodox and looks like he bashes trump based off of a couple video titles iโve seen, but the man is a passionate speaker. hits the nail on the head in regards to a lot of the meta religious stuff. thoughts?
I've heard of him.
He does well on disproving the Judeo-Christian aspects of modern society as seen in his promoted film
"The March to Zion"(?)
anderson is not orthodox
He's protestant, correct?
yes

It's all about Saint Benedict, his life, his purpose in the church, so on, so forth.

The shroud has always fascinated me.
But the fact that it's being stored away by that cunt, Francis,
makes me annoyed.

TFW no christian community to help me keep the faith
bad faith!
Find a Latin Mass church.
I have all the info necessary for attendance to one right up there.
Or ask @Nicholas Istvรกn .
I'll try to go to one but I like to go with my grandmother I didn't go with her last week either. But I guess I gotta save my soul eh
I'd like to talk to one of you Catholic mass goers for a quick rundown before I go
Were/are you Catholic? Have you ever been to a Latin Mass or novus ordo Mass?
Harsh neg
Yes I am a Catholic
Okay just making sure lol
For the TLM really all you have to do is dress nice and show up. There's nothing complicated about it
Most Mass centers have paper missals you can use to follow along in Latin and English
@Simon Scola hey i approve it doesnt come with a necklace though which i knew so i use 550 paracord to wear mine which is a strong utility type fiber that i prefer for survival and durability purposes
So the Spanish civil war was in fact blessed as a crusade.
I had my doubts but I was pretty sure.
Alright, did a bit of looking around, and if you are to bless a Saint Benedict medallion, always have it done by a Benedictine priest if you can find one.
Paul VI was the one who made it no longer mandatory to have such things blessed by their respective priests.
He is the same Paul that convened Vatican II.
If anyone has questions or is confused by the the different groups and priestly societies that adhere to the Traditional Latin Mass, @ or DM me. If you're new to the TLM then just find a Mass location and don't worry about the complicated details right away.
There are major differences between the conciliar, FSSP and ICKSP, neo-SSPX, SSPX Resistance, and sedevacantist positions on the crisis in the Church, and it's very easy to get ideologically influenced by one particular group before you really know what each one stands for.
Under normal circumstances, serious divisions like this do not exist in the Church. As lay persons of course we are just Catholics and don't formally belong to any sub-group in the same way our priests and bishops may belong to of a priestly fraternal society, but we may informally support a society or loose group association based on their position on the present crisis.
If anyone is interested I may just post a brief as possible summary of each position in this chat.
Of Benedict.
In the early years of the wider church
Benedict of Nursia was born to minor nobility in central Italy in what is now Norcia.
He gradually grew disgusted with the degeneracy of the society around him and withdrew to self exile to study God.
When he emerged he was renowned for his holiness.
He is responsible for the modern concept of monasteries in Catholicism.
Guys I've been doing RCIA but i showed up kinda late (been going for a month, even asked if i was too late, they said i wasn't) and the deacon literally just told me i probably can't get confirmed (novus ordo) and I'm black pilled af
I just want to go to a latin mass
I'm transferring at the end of this semester and there's a latin church there. Thought I'd get confirmed while im stuck here
You'll be fine. Your devotion to God will not go ignored by Him.
Do i keep going to mass there?
I'm so confused now
It is all in the messages you're getting from that church in specific. If you feel that you can still influence the church there for the better,
then perhaps you should.
If not, then there are other areas to serve God.
I've been praying the rosary everyday, and I do think it's helpful. But, currently I'm thinking about all the issues I have with novus ordo
Go to the church with the Latin Mass, keep going to Mass
explain your situation to the priest
You could also ask a traditional Catholic priest here, and about any other questions you have

@Joe the boomer would buy the shirt out of spite
Intriguing things here.
Talks about very esoteric rituals still practiced today to counter manifestations of abhorrent spiritual entities.
Hey fellas I hope you guys went to church today.
I did ๐๐
We out here ๐ praising ๐ the ๐ Lord ๐
wow
i didnt know what to expect from going back to mass i was nervious
but i feel way better than expected
if anyone is on voice later we should chat
i have questions
"prots" allowed in here?
i would think so i mean it would seem like a good place for debate with some of the more knolowdegable guys
Did you go to novus ordo or TLM?
TLM master race
@Nicholas Istvรกn i dunno thats part of my questions i have a paper program here but i didnt find it on here
i think lots of them accepting abortion and gay female preists is the final nail now they just begin to disappear
If you don't know it was probably novus ordo
im inclined to think so i know of course it wasnt a latin mass
but i saw someone post there are several types of mass?
otrher than novus ordo and latin
??
Well no, not really. There are eastern rites like the Byzantine rite but that's largely irrelevant to us, the vast majority of the world uses the Latin or Roman rite.
right right
so laregly there is only latin or novus ordo?
if so then yeah i went to novus ordo
it was better towards the end i felt pretty good some thing i dont remeber from when i went to church as a youngin
like altar girls and having members of the community/church giving out communion
yeah both of those things a product of the revolution in the Church....
yeah i do not remeber that 15 to 20 years ago!
It's been around for about 50 years, it depends on the church though
INTERESTING
the altar girls thing ?
cause i do not rmeber that but i believe u
that all being saifd i had a good time and am looking forward to getting more involved .I met one of my priests young fella but nice and i met anohter elderly lady who had just decided to come back to the church and she was telling me how she knew who fulton j sheen was and was able to listen to one of his sermons and she gave hima small plastic pin when she was a little girl so that was pretty cool
very good
thats my church or rather the one my famnily goes to often i plan to visit a few more over time
gunna try to go to the statue ceremony unveiling
In short, the 'Traditional Latin Mass' was just *the Mass* that grew organically for millenia. It was at Vatican II in the 1960s that progressives (jews, freemasons, communists) in the Church finally staged their revolution, undermining several doctrines and implementing the (oddly protestant-like) Novus Ordo Missae and ruberics, which among other things has resulted in what can only be described as liturgical anarchy.
It hurts that i can only go to novus ordo
Latin is such a beautiful language
Hebrew is such a beautiful language
I can't speak Hebrew tho
Damn throat crap is too hard
Hebrew can be beautiful. As well as old Greek, and so on.
The biblical languages are conveniently beautiful when spoken.
The songs which can be sung,
and so on.
There's a certain element of majesty in them.
Also, I cannot emphasize this enough, actually study Hebrew.
The language of the enemy, and the language of the Old Testament is nothing to snub your nose at.
I don't know what church to go to
95% of the churches here are awful prots
there are a few very small catholic churches but I think all of them are immigrant congregations
chileans and poles probably
should I join one of them?
yes
either one sounds good the polish is probably better b ut chileans r based
Poles
Poland probably has the best catholic church going on rn
if they emulate that its probably a good experience
@Simon Sasquatch how was my call in the call in show it felt good to share
@Joe the boomer It was great!
Your story was definitely inspiring!
i dont really have a way wiyth words
ill bring up more of my experiences next call in
thanks man
@Joe the boomer sounded good! need more stories like that
very good call
i had some more but im saving them
like the old lady i met she had meet fulton j sheen when she was a little girl and heard one oif his sermons
Pope Paul VI 2nd miracle confirmed, on way to canonization
"miracle"
Since JPII took a sledgehammer to the centuries-old canonization protocols including the rigorous devil's advocate process in 1983, canonizations since then do not hold the same weight that they did previously. Liberal popes who welcomed the revolution, and by word and deed regularly contradicted the pre-VII teachings of the Church, and never underwent anywhere near the same level of scrutiny as all the other saints, are probably not saints.
On a side note, traditionalists in the Church are often criticized and ignored for "being so negative" and always counter-signalling news and other things that make people feel good. It's easy to see where the criticism comes from, and it's certainly just as frustrating and painful for us if not moreso being forced to constantly criticize the very men who should be leading us towards Heaven. But we must never stray from the truth no matter how hard it is to say it.
I have a small room but I'm thinking about making an icon corner, any of u guys have something like that
Probably something like this
nice
That would be cool but all the corners in my room are taken up by something
Fugg
My entire life is my icon corner
Paul VI also took away power from the Benedictine order to properly bless their own talismans, instead establishing it to where any priest could give the blessing of Saint Benedict over St. Benedict's medal.
Worst fucking pope.
@j0hn I had a little kinda "altar" thing, not as flush as that but I got a bigger bed and it didnt really fit anymore. Still have the big orthodox looking christ on the wall
I really want to see catholics in the wild, would help my faith, but ive had to lift during the meetings
Fellas how do I not dehumanize people? I see my vapid empty peers and I dont think I view them as a son/daughter of god. I have special antagonist to certain groups like asian women. They seem like empty husks, souless dolls
I can understand why white guys use these people, they just seem like a fish out of water, goofy
Well, the biggest thing is, to think of their probable background.
What internal thoughts brought them to the vapid and abhorrent way they live.
Try to empathize with them.
This does not mean you trust them, but, you have to observe it like a wounded bear.
You can sympathize with it
but it's fear and pain make it volatile to anyone who comes to close.
Be careful around them.
But be mindful,
there are some in this world who truly are almost unequivocally evil.
I cant sympathize with the asians
hi
I can sympathize with the others
but these vapid asian trying to leech from my country
URF
its not like they dont have opportunity at home
We probably are importing a lower caste of asians
into our unis
why would they want to leave their volk to come here
where they cant fucking speak proerply to people
oof
and I see them in the GYM
they trying to sucker some cracker into getting them a residency
jesus bread
just wow
I understand.
A lot of the time I find myself dehumanizing Hispanics because they destroy everything in my community.
They addict our children to their drugs,
they shit on our traditions,
they expect us to learn their language.
Just those things alone
make t easier for a man to see someone as less than human.
And it's difficult sometimes,
because you've got to remind yourself that they are.
Easy to dehumanize immigrants when youโre forced to be around them
For instance my math class is taught by an Indian woman and thereโs an African dude. Both have terrible accents and canโt understand eachother, plus the nog is retarded and asks a lot of dumb questions
Not to mention drivers
Man immigrants just suck
I hate living in a white minority area
We truly weren't meant to live together.
Cathwave
Mfw criollo @Thomas
Even though I myself am spanish I also find it easy to subhumanize spics
I view them an inferior, and rightfully so as my ancestors used to rule over them
Also something to note
For some reasons the shittiest spics are the mexicans
Even the columbians are better
Believe me I know about the Mexican difference...
โค
The SSPX should reunite with the Church
The church should reunite with SSPX ftfy
this^
Can I spiritually castrate myself

I need to turn my dick off I would be such a good boy
Fellas
FELLAS
