First sign of ignorance? Ask them what AR stands for.

2018-03-25 02:16:10 UTC

it's not assault rifle?

2018-03-25 02:16:17 UTC

./s

2018-03-25 02:37:35 UTC

yeah

2018-03-25 02:37:44 UTC

but quizzing people is like a shit test

2018-03-25 02:37:54 UTC

I think we just need more firearms education in public school

2018-03-25 02:37:58 UTC

it's a fucking right ffs

2018-03-25 02:38:17 UTC

I think knife and firearm training would be good

2018-03-25 02:39:02 UTC

with current tech (Airsoft, air rifles) you could very easily train someone for short range stuff; make sure they don't negligent discharge

2018-03-25 02:42:28 UTC

They tried to put fire arms education in schools. The Democrats were all for it until they found out that the NRA were the ones that usually did the training.

2018-03-25 02:42:31 UTC

I think 20 years before I started HS they had a designated shooting range

2018-03-25 02:43:33 UTC

My dad was from a small town in AL and he always said during hunting season kids would bring their guns to school so they could go hunting afterwards. They just left them in their lockers.

2018-03-25 02:43:45 UTC

I don't even care; I honestly don't support everything the NRA stands for.

2018-03-25 02:43:52 UTC

yeah

2018-03-25 02:43:59 UTC

what was once commonplace

2018-03-25 02:46:56 UTC

I'm thinking of getting on the 224 valkyrie train

2018-03-25 02:47:51 UTC

maybe I'll wait another year or two to see if there are better bullet designs

2018-03-25 02:48:11 UTC

have not head much about the 223 valkyrie

2018-03-25 02:49:10 UTC

I usually just stay with the older calibers. Afraid of buying a gun in a new round and not being able to find ammo for it.

2018-03-25 02:49:34 UTC

It's a chamber with higher pressure and I think a slightly longer neck

2018-03-25 02:50:06 UTC

it's just 223 remington with a larger piece of brass

2018-03-25 02:50:54 UTC

ok, thanks

2018-03-25 02:51:22 UTC

I think federal's ammo uses 90gr SMK's

2018-03-25 02:51:52 UTC

which do not fit into most mags when loaded correctly

2018-03-25 02:54:56 UTC

Dies already exist which is good

2018-03-25 02:57:25 UTC

my target 223 wylde loads are all 69 and 77gr's

2018-03-25 02:58:16 UTC

I mass prep 62gr SS109 for trash, since it performs well enough

2018-03-25 02:58:52 UTC

lots of folks bitch about it but I've had absolutely wonderful success with them, getting moa groups without much filtering

2018-03-25 02:59:27 UTC

It cheap and works well enough for field work.

2018-03-25 02:59:53 UTC

yes

2018-03-25 03:00:15 UTC

24.3 gr of H335 does really fucking well with minimal crimping

2018-03-25 03:01:13 UTC

Never loaded my own ammo.

2018-03-25 03:01:19 UTC

it's slightly below M855 in velocity by like 30fps on average using a sample of 100 each

2018-03-25 03:02:22 UTC

I live in CA so I pretty much exclusively do it in anticipation for the 2019 ammunition purchase permits

2018-03-25 03:02:36 UTC

also I do ELR stuff

2018-03-25 03:03:00 UTC

and you really want fire formed brass for such things

2018-03-25 03:04:13 UTC

You, with no ammo limits in my area and the fact that I stick to common and popular rounds there is no real savings for me to reload ammo.

2018-03-25 03:04:23 UTC

yeah

2018-03-25 03:04:57 UTC

I shoot some weird/expensive shit too that costs shitloads to buy

2018-03-25 03:05:21 UTC

458 socom and 338 lapua are really expensive things to feed

2018-03-25 03:05:28 UTC

The most exotic I get these days is 303 british

2018-03-25 03:06:25 UTC

The prices for 338 lapua is ridicules

2018-03-25 03:06:30 UTC

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeup

2018-03-25 03:06:59 UTC

I decided the advantages outweighed going to the more common 300 winmag

2018-03-25 03:07:40 UTC

If your using it for long range accuracy then yes.

2018-03-25 03:08:37 UTC

It's just a little leap forward for where the transonic period occurs while putting a bit more on target in terms of weight

2018-03-25 03:09:07 UTC

The added weight and some of the newer bullet designs really convinced me the most

2018-03-25 03:09:32 UTC

interesting

2018-03-25 03:09:45 UTC

They get super high BC's

2018-03-25 03:10:06 UTC

.85's and above

2018-03-25 03:10:37 UTC

berger OTM hybrids especially; but there are a bunch of monolithic solids for target shooting that are very nice

2018-03-25 03:11:32 UTC

You'd never want to shoot an animal with one since it'd just go straight through, but for targets, why not?

2018-03-25 03:26:10 UTC

When hunting, do you want ammo that pierce? Not sure but I assume you want to generally kill on the first shot.

2018-03-25 03:28:33 UTC

When hunting you want enough penetration to reach the vital organs and not much more. The 338 lapua would go straight through anything you shoot. So its a lot of wasted energy and you have a high speed projectile still going down range.

2018-03-25 03:29:35 UTC

Ah, I see, some piercing, but not enough to go all the way through

2018-03-25 03:30:22 UTC

yep

2018-03-25 03:31:44 UTC

That's why hollow points are so popular for hunting. They transfer of the energy to the target, giving a cleaner kill

2018-03-25 03:31:54 UTC

Lapua magnum? Huh, I forgot 338 Lapua was the name.

2018-03-25 03:32:29 UTC

Damn, fucking jealous of you guys.

2018-03-25 03:35:37 UTC

Be jealous of the other guy, no way I can afford a 338 Lapua.

2018-03-25 04:40:12 UTC

you can afford the gun

2018-03-25 04:40:15 UTC

but not the ammo

2018-03-25 04:40:16 UTC

lol

2018-03-25 04:40:23 UTC

I paid out for a sako TRG

2018-03-25 04:40:31 UTC

I think I posted it in SP

2018-03-25 04:40:35 UTC

But I'll post it there again

2018-03-25 12:29:29 UTC

reminds me of the joke about .50 bmg guns. That they shoot five dollar bills.

2018-03-25 13:21:13 UTC

Iโ€™ve probably shot $100/round before. Literally burning money.

2018-03-25 13:42:19 UTC

sounds like a bunch of Moneyshots to me

2018-03-25 20:16:46 UTC

To get a few coworkers into guns I'd drop a hundred on a range trip

2018-03-25 20:16:52 UTC

I blame having too many guns

2018-03-25 20:17:03 UTC

Work it in the end to have people support the 2A

2018-03-25 21:51:01 UTC

yes

2018-03-25 21:51:08 UTC

If I didn't handload

2018-03-25 21:51:17 UTC

I'd be around 5 dollars per round

2018-03-25 21:51:29 UTC

7 for the lapua built stuff.

2018-03-25 22:44:54 UTC

The biggest story of our time, the story that future historians will be writing about, isn't Russian collusion, isn't Islamic terrorism, isn't climate change or even Donald Trump's tax returns. The biggest story of our age, is a story that is taboo for us to even discuss. A story which is being cloaked in a conspiracy of silence by our political class, both left and right. A story that dares not even speak its name. That's right, by far the biggest story of our time, is the deliberate demographic transformation of some of the oldest and most successful societies on earth. A demographic transformation, which is seeing every European and North American nation systematically changed, from being populated by white Europeans, to being predominantly populated by non-whites imported from the third world. A demographic transformation which dwarfs other historical events such as the expansion of the Roman Empire or the Norman conquest. A demographic transformation that, were it happening to any nation's other than white nations, would be called ethnic cleansing and be the subject of endless UN resolutions aimed at ending it. In fact, never before in the course of human history, has an entire culture, race and civilisation, so thoroughly and willingly turned against it's own indigenous peoples and decided to hand over it's lands, social capital, cultural heritage and national identity to competing alien cultures - without a fight. And yet this colossal story is being wilfully, wantonly and very purposefully, ignored by a highly politically motivated corporate media. A Media which is now effectively acting as a self appointed Diversity Commissar. A Commissar who believes its primary role today, is to decide what it is, you don't need to know.

2018-03-26 00:37:12 UTC

Huge fucking wall of text, mate. Learn to parse.

2018-03-26 00:40:06 UTC

I largely agree with that statement, Aussie. If that were what you were fighting against, I'd be on your side. But you can't do surgery with a broadsword. The Alt Right ideology is an overcorrection.

2018-03-26 00:41:19 UTC

Also, thank goodness Tim gave me a new word today. 'Semantic Campaign'.

2018-03-26 01:35:10 UTC

I think it explains what's going on Ryecast, yes I know it's a lot to read but what we are dealing with is very complicated. I don't think surgery will save the west when we are dealing with Millions of people. You don't use a fishing rod to catch lots of fish you use a net.

2018-03-26 02:03:35 UTC

Like I have said previously, we need a political revolution all over the west to save it.

2018-03-26 02:06:20 UTC

I do think worrying about violence is a waste of time at this point, myself, since in either case I think it's simply an inevitability.

2018-03-26 02:07:04 UTC

Let me take that fishing analogy a little further;

A big problem with net fishing is that it catches everything, including fish you *can't* eat. While "efficient", net fishing causes far more damage then regular fishing to the ecosystem; and therefore impacts future yeilds.

In order to create the white ethnostate, you would have to install tyranny. While you can benefit in the short term from not having to deal the with problems of minority and immigrant groups, you would not have to deal with a tyrannical government that has the power to remove people it deems *undersirable.*

2018-03-26 02:08:36 UTC

As true as that is, you're thinking about Step 7, where Step 2 is of immediate concern. If we can't resolve even Step 2, then it will be useless to worry about how it might affect Step 7.

2018-03-26 02:11:07 UTC

Which I think is to the benefit of the alt right, since often the conversation leads to "but if you do this, it'll lead to violence." I think the alt right's mistake is them getting hung up on thinking of ways or trying to assure us, "oh no guys, it doesn't have to be violent, really." When really, what they should be saying is, "Yeah, it will, but if things keep going the way they are it'll lead to violence anyway.", making the point a moot one.

2018-03-26 02:11:08 UTC

@Aktriaz If we need tyranny and violence to save oursleves I think that is better than beeing whiped out.

2018-03-26 02:12:19 UTC

At the very least they'll then be owning up to it.

2018-03-26 02:13:47 UTC

I don't want to go that far but if it means our survival I think we should.

2018-03-26 02:14:56 UTC

This isn't me picking a side, btw, I just think we're well beyond that point of no return when it comes to avoiding violence.

2018-03-26 02:15:12 UTC

At least in Europe.

2018-03-26 02:16:24 UTC

The left has been acting authoritarian for the last 50 years and we may have to act the same way to fix this problem.

2018-03-26 02:19:06 UTC

@JadenFrostwolf "As true as that is, you're thinking about Step 7, where Step 2 is of immediate concern. If we can't resolve even Step 2, then it will be useless to worry about how it might affect Step 7."

Really weak argument. Since when did looking at how your decisions impact the future become unwise?
*If you want to go that route,* then making the wrong choice at Step 2 could make the right choice at Step 7 undoable.

This is a pointless argument.

2018-03-26 02:20:06 UTC

I think Americans should keep an eye on California. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il4CwUm0pKY

2018-03-26 02:23:49 UTC

I'm not saying it's unwise, I'm just saying we shouldn't be focusing on Step 7 at the expense of Step 2.

2018-03-26 02:25:11 UTC

Commifornia is already lost. It is Americas Sweden

2018-03-26 02:26:35 UTC

Besides, I think it's possible to undo a tyrannical government should one arise, as we've seen it countless times already.
Undoing extinction? Not so much.

2018-03-26 02:30:36 UTC

Agreed, the tyrannical forces of the culture of the west since post ww2. They knew that if they did not remove the west, the west would stand against them.

2018-03-26 02:37:16 UTC

The west has survived so much.
>the fall of the Roman empire
>the Dark ages
>several invasions by the Muslim world and occupation of servral countries like Greece, spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, ect
>several plagues including the black plague which whipped out 1/3 of Europe's population
>several religious wars which truned Europe against it's self
>two world wars which killed millions of the best men and women of the west
>eastern Europe after a half century of Communist occupation
The west survived all of this becase it composed of whites not some foreign peoples.
