2018-10-11 19:11:55 UTC

Ah, I'll have to watch it later. I may or may not be at school right now.

2018-10-11 19:11:59 UTC

Hes going to have a one on one with ralph

2018-10-11 19:12:01 UTC

I do like Sargon.

2018-10-11 19:12:09 UTC

The only contribution Ralph has made to mankind is "NOW WAIDDAMINUD"

2018-10-11 19:12:20 UTC

Sargon needs to practice what he preaches.

2018-10-11 19:12:21 UTC

NOOOOO MATTT NOOOOO

2018-10-11 19:12:23 UTC

I may not agree with everything he says, but he's cool.

2018-10-11 19:12:30 UTC
2018-10-11 19:12:30 UTC

I think sargons old stuff is bad his new stuff is really good

2018-10-11 19:12:33 UTC

his long form stuff is pro

2018-10-11 19:12:36 UTC

NOW WAIDDAMINUD MATT

2018-10-11 19:12:39 UTC

he can still be a dick sometimes

2018-10-11 19:12:44 UTC

Agree ^

2018-10-11 19:12:52 UTC

sargons longform venezueal video was really good

2018-10-11 19:13:01 UTC

...I think that's just being a certain flavor of British.

2018-10-11 19:13:06 UTC

heres the thing

2018-10-11 19:13:11 UTC

Mad respect to you tim for calling him out in nyc

2018-10-11 19:13:16 UTC

when i called sargona a dick he was like "yea I get it"

2018-10-11 19:13:23 UTC

you call a regresive out and they spew acid vomit

2018-10-11 19:13:27 UTC

In person too

2018-10-11 19:13:42 UTC

Its like when Wolverine calls Cyclops a dick in the first movie

2018-10-11 19:13:48 UTC

i called him out on stage at his own event and he acknowledged it

2018-10-11 19:13:56 UTC

thats why i respect him and consider him a friend

2018-10-11 19:14:04 UTC

he can self reflect

2018-10-11 19:14:11 UTC

he can admit when he makes mistakes and improve

2018-10-11 19:14:22 UTC

What about his principles though ?

2018-10-11 19:14:27 UTC

and its that trait that allows him to be good at what he does

2018-10-11 19:14:36 UTC

Sometimes, ya gotta be a dick if it's the only way people will listen. But ya gotta know when to turn conciliatory once people understand you find what they're doing horrid.

2018-10-11 19:14:54 UTC

Calros made a point about how "manspreading" just incites and doesnt help

2018-10-11 19:14:56 UTC

sargon agreed

2018-10-11 19:15:03 UTC

so i asked him why he called nicholas matte a soyboy

2018-10-11 19:15:07 UTC

I'm sure he likes you too, you bloody wanker.

2018-10-11 19:15:24 UTC

Probably cuz its fun to do that periodically

2018-10-11 19:15:43 UTC

in the context of the debate matte did nothing uncivil

2018-10-11 19:15:50 UTC

so I think it was not warranted

2018-10-11 19:15:53 UTC

Oh it was during a debate

2018-10-11 19:16:01 UTC

I thought you meant in a video or something

2018-10-11 19:16:01 UTC

"The killstream"

2018-10-11 19:16:02 UTC

sargon sucks at live debates

2018-10-11 19:16:03 UTC

it was in reference to the MAtte Peterson debate

2018-10-11 19:16:03 UTC

Oh, okay. Yeah I can see how that's a problem.

2018-10-11 19:16:10 UTC

sargon referenced the video

2018-10-11 19:16:13 UTC

not to amttes face

2018-10-11 19:16:25 UTC

so I can understand calling someone out and being rude if they are uncivil

2018-10-11 19:16:25 UTC

Man killstream is great

2018-10-11 19:16:35 UTC

I'm not surprised oprahsminge thinks this.

2018-10-11 19:16:42 UTC

like sargon told richard carrier to shut up several times in Milwaukee so I booed

2018-10-11 19:16:44 UTC

I will always have a fondness for Sargon, because watching his videos encouraged me to think more centrically. But the recent internet drama regarding him, Kraut and Tea, and now Jim and TL;DR... it's turned me off a lot.

If he wants to tell people to take the high road, and be more thoughtful and more politically active, I'm all for that. But when he reverts to older Sargon and base insults and things like that... especially when he's said previously to take the argument and not the person.

2018-10-11 19:16:45 UTC

Just the best

2018-10-11 19:16:46 UTC

Every time this particular person speaks, it's something silly.

2018-10-11 19:16:48 UTC

carrier was interrupting

2018-10-11 19:16:53 UTC

but its still bad form imo

2018-10-11 19:17:11 UTC

Wait, he was?

2018-10-11 19:17:12 UTC

welp. Time to go do more work. Nice talking

2018-10-11 19:17:15 UTC

Skeptic didn't even bring that up.

2018-10-11 19:17:17 UTC

Ralph is a fantastic host

2018-10-11 19:17:24 UTC

It made Sargon look terrible. I had no idea Carrier was interrupting.

2018-10-11 19:17:28 UTC

yea he was

2018-10-11 19:17:29 UTC

How much more difficult is it to say, "could I finish my point" to Dr. Carrier than say "shut up"?

2018-10-11 19:17:30 UTC

Gotta respect Sargon for admitting he needed to take a step back

2018-10-11 19:17:31 UTC

What the fuck, that's completely different.

2018-10-11 19:17:41 UTC

but sargon was dominating the conversation

2018-10-11 19:17:42 UTC

for a whole 24 hours

2018-10-11 19:17:51 UTC

imo i think no one was at fault to an extreme degree

2018-10-11 19:17:52 UTC

or 48

2018-10-11 19:17:54 UTC

sargon went hard

2018-10-11 19:17:58 UTC

there is polite ways to interrupt and polite ways to tell someone to shut up.

2018-10-11 19:17:58 UTC

carrier would cut him off

2018-10-11 19:18:00 UTC

sargon said shut up

2018-10-11 19:18:07 UTC

Sargon expected a hardline SJW

2018-10-11 19:18:10 UTC

in a debate you dont look good saying shut up

2018-10-11 19:18:16 UTC

And got...Carrier, who's not very hardline anything

2018-10-11 19:18:16 UTC

yea and he got an ally lol

2018-10-11 19:18:22 UTC

carrier agreed with him

2018-10-11 19:18:25 UTC

ye

2018-10-11 19:18:55 UTC

I actually ribbed Sargon about it after the fact, gave him the "intellectually blueballed" term he used later in his wrap up vid, lol

2018-10-11 19:19:43 UTC

hahaha

2018-10-11 19:20:49 UTC

I do like him joining a political party, and trying to influence positive change from the inside. I wish we had more people doing that.

2018-10-11 19:21:30 UTC

The main issue with joining politics is that you actually have to deal with politicians in person

2018-10-11 19:21:31 UTC

I just wish the more mainstream political parties were the ones who were receptive to new ideas. I don't know that UKIP is the party of effective governance and change.

2018-10-11 19:21:53 UTC

It's no different than going to most workplaces.

2018-10-11 19:22:01 UTC

You have to deal with office politics.

2018-10-11 19:22:23 UTC

Except office politics is the actual work

2018-10-11 19:22:29 UTC

Not always.

2018-10-11 19:22:46 UTC

My office politics is managers trying to advance up the corporate ladder.

2018-10-11 19:22:57 UTC

Smiling to your face whilst trying to get you fired.

2018-10-11 19:23:17 UTC

Looking for ways to prove to their managers that they are worthy of promotion and praise.

2018-10-11 19:23:34 UTC

Meanwhile, the front-line employees are just doing their 9 to 5.

2018-10-11 19:24:03 UTC

When Ralph (Retort) was happy that Sargon was initially rejected from UKIP

2018-10-11 19:24:12 UTC

That should've disintegrated Ralph's credibility

2018-10-11 19:24:15 UTC

The fuck is he happy about that for?

2018-10-11 19:24:18 UTC

Seriously.

2018-10-11 19:24:26 UTC

ralph was totally right

2018-10-11 19:24:39 UTC

Oprah doesn't seem to get it.

2018-10-11 19:24:40 UTC

When sargon didnt protest for Tommy that should have disintegrated sargon

2018-10-11 19:24:49 UTC

No you don't seem to get it

2018-10-11 19:24:53 UTC

This is about Ralph right now.

2018-10-11 19:25:04 UTC

This is about sargon now

2018-10-11 19:25:05 UTC

Don't veer off, I will snap you back into place.

2018-10-11 19:25:15 UTC

What did Ralph have to be happy about?
