in the context of the debate matte did nothing uncivil
so I think it was not warranted
Oh it was during a debate
I thought you meant in a video or something
"The killstream"
sargon sucks at live debates
it was in reference to the MAtte Peterson debate
Oh, okay. Yeah I can see how that's a problem.
sargon referenced the video
not to amttes face
so I can understand calling someone out and being rude if they are uncivil
Man killstream is great
I'm not surprised oprahsminge thinks this.
like sargon told richard carrier to shut up several times in Milwaukee so I booed
I will always have a fondness for Sargon, because watching his videos encouraged me to think more centrically. But the recent internet drama regarding him, Kraut and Tea, and now Jim and TL;DR... it's turned me off a lot.
If he wants to tell people to take the high road, and be more thoughtful and more politically active, I'm all for that. But when he reverts to older Sargon and base insults and things like that... especially when he's said previously to take the argument and not the person.
Just the best
Every time this particular person speaks, it's something silly.
carrier was interrupting
but its still bad form imo
Wait, he was?
Skeptic didn't even bring that up.
Ralph is a fantastic host
It made Sargon look terrible. I had no idea Carrier was interrupting.
yea he was
How much more difficult is it to say, "could I finish my point" to Dr. Carrier than say "shut up"?
Gotta respect Sargon for admitting he needed to take a step back
What the fuck, that's completely different.
but sargon was dominating the conversation
for a whole 24 hours
imo i think no one was at fault to an extreme degree
or 48
sargon went hard
there is polite ways to interrupt and polite ways to tell someone to shut up.
carrier would cut him off
sargon said shut up
Sargon expected a hardline SJW
in a debate you dont look good saying shut up
And got...Carrier, who's not very hardline anything
yea and he got an ally lol
carrier agreed with him
