Every time this particular person speaks, it's something silly.

2018-10-11 19:16:48 UTC

carrier was interrupting

2018-10-11 19:16:53 UTC

but its still bad form imo

2018-10-11 19:17:11 UTC

Wait, he was?

2018-10-11 19:17:12 UTC

welp. Time to go do more work. Nice talking

2018-10-11 19:17:15 UTC

Skeptic didn't even bring that up.

2018-10-11 19:17:17 UTC

Ralph is a fantastic host

2018-10-11 19:17:24 UTC

It made Sargon look terrible. I had no idea Carrier was interrupting.

2018-10-11 19:17:28 UTC

yea he was

2018-10-11 19:17:29 UTC

How much more difficult is it to say, "could I finish my point" to Dr. Carrier than say "shut up"?

2018-10-11 19:17:30 UTC

Gotta respect Sargon for admitting he needed to take a step back

2018-10-11 19:17:31 UTC

What the fuck, that's completely different.

2018-10-11 19:17:41 UTC

but sargon was dominating the conversation

2018-10-11 19:17:42 UTC

for a whole 24 hours

2018-10-11 19:17:51 UTC

imo i think no one was at fault to an extreme degree

2018-10-11 19:17:52 UTC

or 48

2018-10-11 19:17:54 UTC

sargon went hard

2018-10-11 19:17:58 UTC

there is polite ways to interrupt and polite ways to tell someone to shut up.

2018-10-11 19:17:58 UTC

carrier would cut him off

2018-10-11 19:18:00 UTC

sargon said shut up

2018-10-11 19:18:07 UTC

Sargon expected a hardline SJW

2018-10-11 19:18:10 UTC

in a debate you dont look good saying shut up

2018-10-11 19:18:16 UTC

And got...Carrier, who's not very hardline anything

2018-10-11 19:18:16 UTC

yea and he got an ally lol

2018-10-11 19:18:22 UTC

carrier agreed with him

2018-10-11 19:18:25 UTC

ye

2018-10-11 19:18:55 UTC

I actually ribbed Sargon about it after the fact, gave him the "intellectually blueballed" term he used later in his wrap up vid, lol

2018-10-11 19:19:43 UTC

hahaha

2018-10-11 19:20:49 UTC

I do like him joining a political party, and trying to influence positive change from the inside. I wish we had more people doing that.

2018-10-11 19:21:30 UTC

The main issue with joining politics is that you actually have to deal with politicians in person

2018-10-11 19:21:31 UTC

I just wish the more mainstream political parties were the ones who were receptive to new ideas. I don't know that UKIP is the party of effective governance and change.

2018-10-11 19:21:53 UTC

It's no different than going to most workplaces.

2018-10-11 19:22:01 UTC

You have to deal with office politics.

2018-10-11 19:22:23 UTC

Except office politics is the actual work

2018-10-11 19:22:29 UTC

Not always.

2018-10-11 19:22:46 UTC

My office politics is managers trying to advance up the corporate ladder.

2018-10-11 19:22:57 UTC

Smiling to your face whilst trying to get you fired.

2018-10-11 19:23:17 UTC

Looking for ways to prove to their managers that they are worthy of promotion and praise.

2018-10-11 19:23:34 UTC

Meanwhile, the front-line employees are just doing their 9 to 5.

2018-10-11 19:24:03 UTC

When Ralph (Retort) was happy that Sargon was initially rejected from UKIP

2018-10-11 19:24:12 UTC

That should've disintegrated Ralph's credibility
