Unfortunately for the far right, their support of individual rights is conditional, i.e. only when their own rights are threatened. The old phrase "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is far from universal. In this case, Sargon knows that in order to preserve the things he cares about, he can only at best unwillingly run a course parallel to the far right, but I doubt he will ever ally with them in any real capacity.
