Alright I searched and found an option for the chin strap that will be here on November 29th.

When are they due to arrive?

@all :turkey: Happy Thanksgiving, brothers! I am thankful for all of y'all and also the tireless effort y'all put in every day for the betterment of our folk. Enjoy, treasure and be thankful for this day of family and good food. :turkey:

Check online if you can find anything near you. I'll also look to see if I can acquire you a pair.

Do you know the measurements for your shins?

Gabriel AZ?

Or Gabriel CA?

I've been trying to get in contact with him for a long while too and have heard nothing. Due to this fact he is not attending the December event. He is on my list of removal recommendations to Thomas by the end of the year due to his long state of inactivity.

These are the ones I use, my pair have served me well for years, both in work, activism, trudging up mountains and through snow. Bates is also one of the boot makers that is highly preferred by the U.S. military.

With the black Friday sale going on you can probably get a decent discount off them too. Code is "BLACK FRIDAY".

Black or tan works for the activism uniform but if you need tan specifically there are plenty of options on Bates. Check through the Tactical and Military Branch sections and you will see plenty of tan boots. I do recommend considering something with water resistance, it really does come in handy, composite toe is nice too.

Those specific pair you linked I'm sure are good of course though I have never used them, Bates generally has a very good reputation for their products.

No problem, glad to help. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well.

@all Regional meeting will be tomorrow at 8 PM. I want as many people there for this one as possible so we can do a final review for our travel plans for December.

@ll I'll be on in 5 to 10 mins

No worries you were there for all the important bits and that is what is important as we get ready for December.

@Blut_Und_Loyalitat

Good news after more digging I was able to find a single company at EWR that had a 12 passenger van for 535 bucks. So transportation issue is solved. I tried looking at that place in Maplewood you sent me but sadly their hours did not work with the flight times.

@all Vehicle rental payment will be 55 bucks each. If you want to see the receipt for confirmation feel free to ask and I'll forward it to you.

I remember you asked to be covered for the vehicle rental payment so you can ignore the post in regional chat. Were you able to find anything in a local sporting goods store for the pads?

Excellent work! Just so you know it is your choice of Pull-ups or chin-ups, you don't have to do both. But extra exercises are never a bad thing so good job. I'll take your highest score for the record in upper body.

Alright very good.

@all Reminder that fitness results are due by the end of today.

Excellent work and what was the number count for your sit-ups?

We can use your treadmill time, that is fine.

One vehicle, seats 14 people counting driver and navigator seat.

chin-ups, sit-ups, 1.5 mile run

Awesome, good work

If you have questions you are always welcome to come and ask me, mostly likely I will have an answer and if I don't I most likely know some one who does. Requirements are below. Push-ups are not part of the testing, if you did push-ups before your pull-ups I recommend redoing the pull-ups ( up to you) because you can probably do a bit better. Also the run is a 1.5 miles so I'll need you to do that still. Excellent work on sit-ups also.

:pfshield: California Regional Fitness Requirements: :pfshield:

Pull-ups/Chin-ups: (Min Pass) + 7 reps | (Good) + 15 reps | (Great) + 20 reps | (Gold) + 25 reps

1.5 Mile Run: (Min Pass) -13:30 min | (Good) -12:00 min | (Great) -10:30 min | (Gold) -9:00 min

Sit-Ups: (Min Pass) + 40 reps | (Good) + 45 reps | (Great) + 50 reps | (Gold) + 55 reps

Excellent work on the sit-ups, good stuff. Just need you chins/pulls.

Pick whichever you feel most comfortable with. When given a choice between chin-ups or pull-ups I personally prefer chin-ups due to being more familiar with them and being able to pump out a couple of extra reps when compared to pull-ups.

@ND - Samuel VA I'm flying into Newark with my travel party, got 5 spare seats.

@ND - Samuel VA Me specifically I will arrive at 3:45 but I will have lads arriving as early as 6:00 AM and as late as 5:30 PM.

@all still waiting for some fitness reports, chop chop, this will be a big topic at our next meeting.

You did 5 miles?

Gotcha, just so you know the run is 1.5 miles but if you ran a 15 minute mile then it is best if we work you up to 1.5 miles.

Most local highschools have a outdoor track, you can give those a try at night when no one is there.

@all Also if possible try and have your portion of the rental payment ready at the Air port. I'll be planning to use that for the vehicle deposit.

Any word on the address I need to take my travel party too once we have all landed at the airport?

Roger, will do.

Any word on the address I'll be taking my travel party to?

Roger that.

15 chin-ups, 50 sit-ups, 11:28 mile and a half run.

@all some slight complications with my flight. I'll be arriving at 4:52 pm instead of 3:46 pm.

Me and my lads won't be at the checkpoint until the evening. Our last member lands at 5:30 pm.

@ND - John WA The last person to arrive in my travel party comes in at 5:30 pm.

@all Vehicle pick up will be at the Avis rental center in the airport, that is a good place to hang around for the meet up.

Correct

@all We are getting some last minute additions to our travel party so we will be at the airport a bit longer then expected. When you land work on linking up with those already in the Airport so I don't need to hunt every individual down.

Roger that, me and my lads will take care of you.

@all Post in here when you have landed to help in finding each other.

@all I have landed, taxing on the runway to the terminal now.

Heading to baggage claim

@Christopher CA Whichever you are closest too. @Logan CA I'm in terminal B Level 1.
