thats fairly common for research in which the survey has to match the outcome

As opposed to having research where you get the outcome by examining surveys

they are only being used to convince you of something xD

they are manipulated data but presented as facts

and not having your survey overran by either side

you would want an as random as possible group of people

If i were to hold a survey asking 1000 people about like wage / rent in the center of Los Angeles

I'll get different results than if i'd go ask 1000 people across all 50 states

thats why u need to look at aggregates not single surveys

even the aggregates are wrong
