So 5 years I built a sleep cycle of sleeping at 11 every night
And then my body was instantly able to change that by 12 hours

I slept like s*** from 11 till 6 in the morning everyday
seems liek you just didn't sleep enough, not in a "wrong cycle"
No, because I simply couldn't sleep well ever
But if I go to sleep at like 10 in the morning I sleep like a baby
I swear to f****** God it's like you get your advice from your grandmother

In the point is so was my father, and now scientists are starting to realize that might be genetic
It was probably a learned behavior at one point, but passed down
We can force f*** our sleep schedule into a normal one
But I'll always be tired, I'll always be groggy in the morning and I never sleep well
try coffee 😛
However if I let my body go to sleep and it wants to, it'll naturally go to sleep in the morning sleep for seven or eight hours and I'll feel rested when I wake up
My body had no problem adjusting my sleep cycle back to sleeping in the morning
And for five years I work with a disabled person
Where there they had to be there at 7 in the morning, work half the day, go home then come back at 9 at night to give him a shower and put him in bed, and then I would go back home and go to sleep at 11 and do it everyday
Literally every single day because it was the only person who can take care of them
So 5 years 365 days a week oh, hell even when a hurricane hit
Wasn't enough to solidify sleep schedule, so that literally the first day I didn't have that job I didn't go to sleep that night and then slept like a baby and then was like that since then
To me that just sounds like its all in your head really
nah
because i tried to fix it multiple times
because its actually really inconvenient
the only reason it half worked for the 5 years was because i was able to be exhausted every day anyways

so perpetual exhaustion is one way to do it

atm i have the opposite sleep schedule of my friends
Some people can handle random violent changes to their sleep.
or even peak gaming times
