I did pay less than I have for about 9 months last week, but I don't think it'll drop 30% unfortunately
so as far as i gather it seems to be: low demand because of industry shut down/econ slowdown (esp in china) due to corona. oil producers react by cutting output, which triggers a crude trade war which ends up with the saudis increasing output and discounting the price, causing more panic reducing the price further
Presumably the Saudi's are trying to cause some of the competition to go under to reduce their competition and get them access to more oil production outside of Saudi itself?

Oil goes down because there's less people buying, it's very expensive to store oil, so it's not really about competition, it's about getting oil out before more comes in
If you imagine it takes up a lot of land, because a fire could light the whole supply if they're all together... Then spread out it's got to all be secured....
Btw, come tomorrows open at 9am ... The stock market is about to have its biggest drop ...since.... Probably ever.
