You have 2 kinds of support,

The support that is honest (you) which will warn people about stupid things to protect them from it
And the support that tells them what they wanna hear, even if it means guiding them into total destruction

The thing is, it seems like your friend is very unsatisfied with their life and is making a lot of changes to search for something that will fix that unsatisfied feeling. I am afraid that doing something so permanent will only cause your friend to go farther into an emotional spiral, because it won't be what they are looking for.

So I will keep 2 732€/month ( without house tax, gas, oil, etc )

The minimum wage in France is 1300€/month and
It get taxed: 291€
So actually they keep 980€
