will the upcoming automated tyranny be a bot that autokicks people at random on a timer?

some places on the internet will say that if you interrupt you're liable for a portion of the tuition fee for the year you don't finish, and depending on when you rejoin either a portion or all of the tuition fee of that year. my current plan, interrupt at the end of christmas and join next year's cohort, would put my mam out 2k for the rest of this year, 9k for next year, and possibly what maintenance would give me because I don't know if I would get maintenance. however, as I'll be interrupting on medical grounds, student finance will discuss it with the uni and they should still cover it. I'll be overpaid for maintenance but shouldn't be liable for next year's fees, maybe the rest of this year's tho @Jim
