Wtf, 4chan has pop up ads now
especially if an asian PhD student with no common sense
You jog over to the stairs and walk back down to the bottom.
There, you have been explicitly told how running bleachers works
Actually, thats probably inadequate
I quit doing 5x5 today after doing it for 4 years because I was afraid of injuring my joints
I switched to a lower weight 8x5 because it's not as much tension and it wil strengthen my ligaments
I intend to lift for another 25 years or more
I am playing the long game
don't forget to turn around when you reach the top, so you don't walk backwards down the steps
which I encourage slug to do too
injuring yourself will destroy your ultimate strength
he should mitigate risk
We can agree on that. Avoiding injury should be #1. Don't fuck around with joints
And also, don't forget to use the hand rail
and avoid walking down concrete spikes while exhausted
And drink water
5x5 isn't going to injure your joints unless you're doing the lifts wrong, in which case 8x5 at lighter weight is still going to injure your joints
well there is a reduced possibility of me getting it wrong if I do higher volume, since each individual lift will be easier
5x5 is dangerous as I progress
In what way? The things that will cause injury are poor mechanics and don't have much to do with whether you're fatigued or not.
if my back caves in I will injure myself
if my ankles give out I will injure myself
these things depend on my level of energy
If either of those things is even possible your mechanics are totally fucked to begin with
what
backs sometimes are tired
I deadlift
Very rarely is it appropriate to work accross sets on dead lift anyway
listen man I know you want me to feel dumb but it's not going to work, I know enough about lifting to know that it makes me tired and that when I'm tired I'm not as strong.
Obviously
You're last set should be a struggle
>youre
Every aspect of it. Keeping your femur and tidia in proper alignment with your toes, keeping your trunk rigid, keeping the bar over your mid foot
