Maybe because they consider it a bad word like fuck? I wouldn't know, feminism's sense of logic escapes me

2019-03-05 17:08:20 UTC

Something something ptsd

2019-03-05 17:12:09 UTC

I think that logic escapes them too, lol. But I think that's a part of the Tone Police problem they have. They set themselves up in an environment where the slightest slip can and is used against them - so they are hyper aware of what they say and how they say it. It's not a fun way to live, and it doesn't even help rape victims.

2019-03-05 21:27:48 UTC

It's a good thing, because it means that the trigger-warriors will tear themselves apart.

2019-03-05 21:28:24 UTC

it is not enough to just be 'progressive', now you need to 'out woke' the 'woke' to be accepted - and it is pushing more sensible thinking people towards conservatism imo.

2019-03-05 23:36:53 UTC

Aight, i got angry and did a study. About 27% of people are able to have periods, taking into account sex and age, but not medical problems.

2019-03-06 01:00:01 UTC

thats pretty interesting

2019-03-06 01:00:56 UTC

its both lower than I thought but also surprisingly high? I don't know where that dichotemy comes from

2019-03-06 01:01:07 UTC

probably my brain just being weird

2019-03-06 08:18:50 UTC

You did a study yourself?

2019-03-06 08:22:22 UTC

I used basic maths and the 2011 UK census

2019-03-06 08:26:17 UTC

Orly? Would you be willing to post that on the MR reddit, or something?

2019-03-06 14:39:35 UTC

Hey so

2019-03-06 14:41:10 UTC

At school about that project, teacher changed subject a bit **but** I can still talk about the group itself. So I can't talk about the movement but I can talk about a men's rights group that's accomplished something to put in the presentation.

2019-03-06 14:41:30 UTC

still good

2019-03-06 14:42:02 UTC

I can also talk about a specific person instead of a group

2019-03-06 14:42:19 UTC

but why did she make you change?

2019-03-06 14:42:40 UTC

more of a planning thing

2019-03-06 14:43:35 UTC

still a great opportunity. and good on you to do that publicly. taking risks like that is what we need; people like you are what the MRM needs

2019-03-06 14:44:00 UTC

Now the thing is, I need directions.

2019-03-06 14:46:34 UTC

I need either an organisation, group or person which has accomplishments and advocates men's rights on a vocal enough level to fit an entire presentation

2019-03-06 15:23:09 UTC

i suppose a random redditor or discord mod doesnt count

2019-03-06 15:32:25 UTC

i think she did that as a setup, forcing you to find a specific group/individual so specific criticisms can be found to discredit the,

2019-03-06 15:32:26 UTC

them

2019-03-06 15:32:40 UTC

seems like theres no good reason not to allow you to do the movement as a whole

2019-03-06 15:49:39 UTC

It's possible... But eh, unless accomplishment is defined you can take it to mean a lot of things. As long as *you* consider something an accomplishment, even if it's a seemingly small thing to others, it would still be an appropriate subject

2019-03-06 15:53:46 UTC

If they try to make it so the accomplishment must be of a certain scale or scope, that's when I'd begin to worry

2019-03-06 18:19:04 UTC

earl silverman might be someone to consider

2019-03-06 18:26:58 UTC

@S8N You are in luck! We just had a nice win. A men's rights group got a court to rule that it is unconstitutional to force men but not women to be drafted - and for added humour, feminists tried to claim it's their victory!

2019-03-06 18:27:27 UTC

Meanwhile, a bunch suddenly started asking "do we really need the draft in this day and age" *sweatting*

2019-03-06 20:48:00 UTC

@Tiggy could you link to that group?

2019-03-06 21:05:58 UTC
2019-03-07 13:14:06 UTC

@S8N @Tiggy see personally, id recommend staying away from that. i dont think it makes the MRM look endearing or appealing, it looks a little vindictive, even if its fair

2019-03-07 13:14:18 UTC

you want the girls in the class to like it and what you're saying'

2019-03-07 13:15:17 UTC

i would do something that directly helped men, maybe earl silverman and mens shelters. and you tie in how he committed suicide due to "harassment." you dont have to blame feminists, you can just say "oh, well some feminist groups opposed him" if someone asks

2019-03-07 13:15:25 UTC

doesnt look like you're attacking them, but makes them look bad

2019-03-07 13:43:44 UTC

That seems like a fair point @blueorange22 . The girls might get angry and confrontational if they thought that we were trying to take away their privlages.

2019-03-07 16:08:15 UTC

Oh hey, anyone else seen this?
