I get that shit sometimes too. I've found that it pays to keep an eye on your thought patterns. You'll likely have a particular kind of pattern prior to/during an attack. If you can identify that prior to one you can usually pre-empt it and stop it from happening. What works for me is doing something where i'm not going to be thinking, and just trying to blank out that pattern before it has a chance to get ingrained. If that doesn't work: during one I focus on trying to keep my heart rate down while trying to override the pattern with a different one.

I had a dream about my grandpa

Haven't seen him in like 14 years, so it sucks. I mean, nice dream, I guess. I was being indecisive about a gift for someone and we went shopping for one. Was surprisingly detailed. Like, I was back on his farm and we hopped in the old truck and drove into town. Chatting the whole while.

Kind of a sad feel, now that I'm awake, but also a good feel, I guess

My grandpa died back in 2008. As for what we talked about, it's all hazy and shit now that I am awake. I remember us talking about maps or his property or something, but beyond that idk.

And no, I woke up before we got into town.

But it was nice to see him again. I don't have any pictures. .. and by 'see' more of a vague shape, but distinctly 'him, if that makes sense
