Legitimately, we always talk about for instance how women of our race aren't becoming mothers, but the main reason for that is capitalism. If you look at the Soviet Union (which was a lot too progressive but still), without those economic incentives, fertility rates were high. Then when it collapsed, fertility rates plummeted.

Similar analysis can be done on a multitude of issues.
