I stopped following video games 3 years ago because of the sheer lack of creativity and new ideas

and people wonder why i stick to old games

Don't get me wrong i appreciate the graphics, the immersion, the effort but when i play games i dont want to do a repetitive task over and over again and be forced to grind endlessly

I dont even pay attention to the sound design, the voice actors, i just put on the TFM show/Killstream and and listen to podcasts because i am fundamentally not invested in all elements of the video game

I cant play games anymore without listening to a podcast/radio show. That is how little i care about the game i play

i like doing that too. but mostly with games like dark souls 3. the type of games where you can listen to things while you play

i wouldnt listen to something while im playing starcraft for instance. because it demands attention. but i do like games where you can just have music or a podcast playing

It's a petty thing to be mad about. But I can't remember anything I learn. I try to give all my focus, write notes, read summaries, get adequate sleep, good diet. Max I remember it for a week - then it's gone. Only vague details of the subject are left. It is pretty frustrating.
