you have the updated version of skyrim its meant for
you have the right updated versions of mods that will use it
you installed it on the right folder
you installed it using the correct method

i like skse with how it enables a shit ton of other mods and all but its very sensitive and just one thing not being done correctly and it would just refuse to work
