Even Shermans had stabs in WW2, just that they weren't particularly good (at least by comparison), required extensive training to use effectively, and (from what I've read) most crews just switched the damn thing off
There's a video of a British Centurion firing on the move with the stablizer on too
Regardless, I don't think many people appreciate just how effective stablizers can be, which the above video really highlights
Ah, British Pathe
Kek
Shermans only had 1 plane stabilization
Which means it was easier to bring the gun on target after moving but still didn't allow accurate shots on the move
@Reaps what are some of your war thunder highlights?
Yea you shot
Fuck yea you shot
Bang bang motherfucker
Saw that on Donut Operator's channel.
You like DAKKA reaps?
needs moar dakka
I shot an MG3 version of that gun, when I was in the navy, which had an annoying tendency for the ammo belt to get stuck, when firing like he does in the video. Also had to change the barrel fairly often, or you wouldn't hit a thing.
5 dollars a round machine gun
least the barrel is easy enough to change
fun discovery: Germans kept using the MG-34 in most of their tanks because of the differences in how you change the barrel between that and the 42
Yup
To remove the barrel on the 42 you had to move it diagonally to the side which can't be done using a standard machine gun port
*ancap intensifying*
but do they have bluetooth?
Life comes at you fast
Well
As we say, the smart learns on others' mistakes, the dumb on his own.
So quiet, I can barely hear it
It's a SILENCER
ARE YOU EVEN FIRING IT? I CAN BARELY HEAR IT
But did he attach a bump stock to it?
>Bumps stocks
REEEEEEEEEE
If ANYTHING here is illegal, it's that high capacity magazine they were using and those two pistol grips at the front
Nothing to see here this firearm is red not black and scary
I'm curious about the correct answer, actually.
Wouldn't you lube the moving parts that interact but not the chamber(as a container)? Not too sharp with gun internals though
dont lube the gas chamber lube the piston
