I remember when wildstar received insane levels of hype

now they're ded

well telltale is dead in all but name. as all but the minecart game is caned. and a lot of fans are angry as they have payed for episodes of waking dead that will never come out now. it the perfect example of woke management fucking it up for everyone and suddenly all the money was gone

I don't think it's only the wokeness. It's that they tried to handle too many games and IPs at once and overall gamequality suffered. And there was too little investment to push quality, like no new gameengine that supports physics and stuff. general mismanagement not only woke mismanagement.

But nontheless it really sucks for the employes that now have to suffer the consequences

yea some of the employees did only start last week. with job safety guaranties and all. so yea it all on managements' incompetence that they did fail

from what is coming out of telltale atm is that management was full on the diversity trend and from that most of the big talent did leave from the toxic environment. it was not a company for white men but everyone else and the quality of the games did take huge hit from it
