interesting

2019-02-09 19:16:56 UTC

united states weren't a western ally in 1940

2019-02-09 19:17:02 UTC

wasn't?

2019-02-09 19:19:25 UTC

battle of britain is missing!

2019-02-09 21:57:43 UTC

it only shows allied bombing, not Axis

2019-02-09 21:59:13 UTC

- but German bombings would seem rather small amount in comparison (not that it would have felt like that at the time)

Well culinary science is a thing, but it's not "cooking"

2019-02-12 00:15:51 UTC

It boils down to it for the most part, nutrition with an emphasis on the preperation and taste/serving.

2019-02-12 00:16:20 UTC

Went to culinary school for half a year before realizing it was a dead end field.

2019-02-13 12:30:31 UTC

Wasn't it scuttled?

2019-02-13 12:58:28 UTC

They did find the original USS Hornet that did sink in the aftermath of the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands after she was crippled by the Japanese

2019-02-13 20:36:50 UTC

Was she one of the ones hit by kamakazi's or was that too early in the war?

2019-02-13 20:57:45 UTC

she was abandoned after they did cripple her water pumps by a torpedo and several armour piercing bombs did destroy her flight deck. but she did not sink before after the main battle, she was a tough bugger

2019-02-13 23:16:55 UTC

*Speaking of aerial attacks on Naval vessels....*

2019-02-13 23:17:39 UTC
