It is rather funny we imagine the benefactors of democracy to be particularly democratic. It is all good and well when its getting you elected, but soon thereafter our repredentatives have other appetites.

Dunno which section to post this in, but Sargon has been on a Starship Troopers kick as of late. I just binged Starship Troopers audiobook (try a youtube search and listen at 1.25+ speed) and the movie manages to not get turned full commie by Hollywood, but it doesn't do the book justice!
