aluminum is a bastard, the surface is hard to punch the arc trough the material runs away from the weld and it cools so fast the weld needs to be even

attach power to thing being welded and the gun thing feeds a small wire that makes the weld

the only thing harder is fucking tungsten steel alloys for drills.

honestly thoguh if you can weld aluminum. and the weld hold as strong at the surrounding material. you know how to weld. Watch some YouTube practice on some steel and get your red seal.
