aluminum is a bastard, the surface is hard to punch the arc trough the material runs away from the weld and it cools so fast the weld needs to be even

attach power to thing being welded and the gun thing feeds a small wire that makes the weld

the only thing harder is fucking tungsten steel alloys for drills.

some machines like to play coy and change the settings when you are not looking, then you need to reconize it happend and stop
