Yeah I don't think so

2019-07-22 16:44:34 UTC

It requires a lot of upper body strength

2019-07-22 16:44:45 UTC

But you won't get like a bodybuilder no

2019-07-22 16:45:43 UTC

I'll keep doing pullups then.

2019-07-22 16:46:56 UTC

Go to church

2019-07-22 16:48:50 UTC

Rock climbers are either very lightweight

2019-07-22 16:49:21 UTC

Or they have an okay amount of muscle

Both of these dudes are professionals

2019-07-22 16:50:32 UTC

>dudes

2019-07-22 16:50:33 UTC

Bruh.

2019-07-22 16:50:39 UTC

That's some real twinkage.

2019-07-22 16:51:30 UTC

As I said, they either get really lightweight, and therefore don't need as much muscle

2019-07-22 16:51:37 UTC

Or they get a decent amount

2019-07-22 16:59:01 UTC

Lightweight people are just masculine women

2019-07-22 16:59:44 UTC

A grown adult male weighs at least 200 kilograms.

2019-07-22 17:00:26 UTC

440 lbs.

2019-07-22 17:00:27 UTC

😏

2019-07-22 17:01:35 UTC

😏

2019-07-22 17:02:53 UTC

From what I was reading for the first 3-6 weeks of climbing consistantly you'll gain muscle mass. After that don't expect much in the way of gains if you're only climbing. You'll tone instead because it rewards having a high strength to weight ratio unlike deadlifting (for example) that only rewards high strength

2019-07-22 17:03:15 UTC

Guess kind of for the same reason soccer players don't bulk

2019-07-22 17:09:38 UTC

Indeed. If you want that douchebag body which attracts teenage girls, go for it

2019-07-22 17:11:05 UTC

I mean, I'm 5'8 and 145 lbs, I don't have the get big option.

2019-07-22 17:11:25 UTC

I'm 5'8 and I can lift a horse

2019-07-22 17:11:30 UTC

What's your excuse

2019-07-22 17:11:41 UTC

I tried eating right and working out 6 days of the week for a month and I lost 20 lbs somehow (165->145)

2019-07-22 17:11:55 UTC

Wasn't eating enough

2019-07-22 17:11:59 UTC

Then you did one or both of those things wrong.

2019-07-22 17:12:12 UTC

I'm not saying I can't get strong, I just can't get showy

2019-07-22 17:14:28 UTC

I already have a great strength to weight ratio, I just can't get biceps bigger than my head

2019-07-22 17:14:45 UTC

You're not eating enough

2019-07-22 17:14:45 UTC

> 6 days a week
Overtraining

2019-07-22 17:14:54 UTC

Also that

2019-07-22 17:15:12 UTC

Only pros do that much because they know what they're doing

2019-07-22 17:15:18 UTC

If you ain't getting fat, you ain't bulking right

2019-07-22 17:16:16 UTC

Cope.

2019-07-22 20:29:16 UTC

got back from the gym

2019-07-22 20:29:24 UTC

got my protein, ate some blue cheese

2019-07-22 20:29:53 UTC

my protein powder is chocolate flavored so I end up making chocolate milk

2019-07-22 20:30:07 UTC

now I just need dino tendies battered with whey protein

2019-07-22 20:30:34 UTC

500 grams protein per 100 gram serving
