Dolfy, I understand you want everyone to know the truth. But how far from the truth am I, a Catholic? How much do I have to rethink? Everything? Most of it? Just a little? How wrong am I?

2018-06-01 22:01:03 UTC

Where do the legio christi chapter symbols come form?

2018-06-01 22:02:11 UTC

The Greek letters chi and ro, the first two letters of Christ's name, which look to us like X and P. Then there's the Alpha and the Omega. As for who first arranged them as they are now, I don't know.

2018-06-01 22:03:16 UTC

Oh, wow.

2018-06-01 22:03:34 UTC

I haven't fully explored the site yet, didn't know about all these symbols.

2018-06-01 22:03:38 UTC

They look amazing.

2018-06-01 22:03:50 UTC

My guess is that each chapter designs them, but I have no idea.

2018-06-01 22:04:16 UTC

The Liverpool chapter is self explanatory

2018-06-01 22:04:28 UTC

They use Saint George

2018-06-01 23:39:41 UTC

I shall remain here here and expose REL evil side until a bullet or a admin banned appeal vote removes me

2018-06-02 00:22:08 UTC

@Karst S. to respond to your post last night, before I had to go to bed, and then head to work this morning, I dont know if that is a good or a bad thing

2018-06-02 00:22:32 UTC

I seem to be behind the curve of most people though. Have trouble relating to that part of peoples lives since I've never really experinced it.

2018-06-02 00:30:28 UTC

To the guys who prayed for me yesterday... you were probably the ones who made that grandpa so strong

2018-06-02 00:33:10 UTC

Dolfy Mitler we’re probably friends.

2018-06-02 00:33:22 UTC

I’m a founding member of /rel/

2018-06-02 00:34:04 UTC

We had dozens of outright converts and based on some things a lurker told me recently we might have hundreds.

2018-06-02 00:34:19 UTC

I’ve run out catechism chat for a very long time.

2018-06-02 00:34:25 UTC

*our

2018-06-02 00:34:40 UTC

/rel/is not an evil place

2018-06-02 00:35:53 UTC

Also Dolfy I’m no ecumenist, but two things are necessary.

2018-06-02 00:36:48 UTC

1. As Fr. Andrew Phillips points out, the common people of Western Europe didn’t choose the schism. It was forced on them by the same apostate elites that are currently destroying all of our countries

2018-06-02 00:38:36 UTC

2. The proper place of Orthodox evangelism is not fundamentally antagonistic to the men of the West, but rather to recall them to the higher standard of Christianity that once existed in the West and which could exist again, if we repent

2018-06-02 00:39:38 UTC

Just like Caesare Mori fought the Sicilian mafias by recalling Sicilians from the lower mafia omerta to a higher omerta.

2018-06-02 00:39:55 UTC

(Omerta means manliness or virtue in Italian)

2018-06-02 00:42:17 UTC

The Virgin Pride Month vs. The Chad Sacred Heart Month

2018-06-02 00:54:56 UTC

Also, is it degenerate to have the Chi Rho tattooed? A dude came into my mom's work with it tattooed on his arm.

2018-06-02 01:03:03 UTC

Depends on the person getting the tattoo imo

2018-06-02 01:04:12 UTC

Some people can make anything degenerate

2018-06-02 01:17:47 UTC

@WileySackett--CO this, this so fucking hard

2018-06-02 03:12:40 UTC

Is there a legio christi fb group?

2018-06-02 03:12:57 UTC

now that rel is gone

2018-06-02 03:13:03 UTC

Oh wow, it's gone?

2018-06-02 03:13:46 UTC

Catholics only, whats the teaching on salvation, especially regarding Protestants?

2018-06-02 03:14:35 UTC

Also why was my priest saying that you dont necessarily have to believe in Christ as long as you seek God with all your heart(muslims, hindus, jews)

2018-06-02 03:15:03 UTC

Non autistic replies only

The soul immediately encounters God's present after death in their particular judgment. Similarly God often makes Himself known directly to people when they are dying
He can present to their mind everything standing in the way of their salvation, and they can choose to hold on to those things or reject them
Regardless of how they lived the rest of their lives (Matthew 20:12-16)
God makes this opportunity available more frequently to people who have attempted to live righteously, even if they were objectively wrong
If they turn from all their sins and errors, they can be saved because in those moments they become Catholic.
If your priest was preaching differently then he was in error.

**Matthew 20:12-16 - Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)**

```Dust
<12> saying, 'These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.' <13> But he replied to one of them, 'Friend, I am doing you no wrong; did you not agree with me for a denarius? <14> Take what belongs to you, and go; I choose to give to this last as I give to you. <15> Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?' <16> So the last will be first, and the first last." ```
Your priest is in error and what he says is a monstrosity.
2018-06-02 06:59:07 UTC
People who seek God don't follow a pedophile warlord, a bunch of talmudists, or the everchanging hindu monstrosity. We could as well add satanists to the list
