The TL;DW would be something along the lines of "instead of doing what the really big devs do and try and make a watered down game that appealed to as big a group as possible, From focused on a specific market that they wanted to be their audience, and did everything in their power to build the game that those people would want. Then, instead of spending a lot of money on marketing, they left it up to those fans to evangelize the game to their friends."
