EU just adopted pre-existing human rights
Human Rights aren't tied to any organisation with teeth.
We just all agreed they were good.
The ECHR precedes the EU by about 25 years
Saudi Arabia, China, Russia, Pakistan, Iran, Brazil, India. They all wipe the soles of their boots on human rights.
And yet.
They're on security councils and human rights councils and they get to talk to us like they're not monkeys waving weapons.
